I think everyone has lost interest by now, creating yet another abandoned thread of yours.

 

Some advice: Stop making new games then abandoning them less than a week later.

It's the end of the year, I had a lot of stuff overdue I had forgotten about. I really do want to stay with this game, and am desperate to relieve the boredom of Tavern inactivity.

Well, to be fair, just about everything else in the Tavern is dying as well, save the maptool games.

Think of hegemony as a slow burning fire; it may not always be so active but if you lean in to close (become innactive) when a gust of wind comes along (war) it will burst up into flames (new argumen... erm posts) and you will be running around with your clothes on fire (country being destroyed).

I still can and want to do it. If three people post, I will.

I only recall one session O_o Which I personally find it pointless to continue using Nighleena for this. I am up for making a new character and restarting my part if this manages to pick back up. ^.~

Damn. Reanimated was a bad idea, SoM was too arbitrary and poorly thought out, you guys are the worst possible audience for Fallen Star, and now I had to take a break from this and everyone quits.

 

Ever wonder why I keep frickin' making games? The rest of you are obviously much better at thinking things through than I am, much better at planning all these instant successes. I try to go in different directions, try something original, and it ends up going wrong. I don't succeed because I don't take the simple route, and don't make parodies of or tributes to an existing universe. If I'm ever going to be a half-assed mod, either some of you need to be a bit more sympathetic or I need to find a cliche that I can bear to use as a design base.

I'm sorry, I was a bit annoyed. This keeps happening, for varying reasons. It's just that I finally want to put effort into a game and make it enjoyable for the players, I would have enough time because summer is just around the corner.

 

Anywho, did you see Revenge of the Space Pandas (or Binky Rudich and the Two-Speed Clock) at school Earthsage? It was hilarious. No surprise with the cast they had. Lydia, the shorter and less evil Emily, and Sarah had the best parts if you ask me. Sarah even got to hit Kevin (the seventh grader) over the head with a net! Now who in our school hasn't wanted to do that? Go Sarah! :thumbsup:

Perhaps. It really depends if there are another two and whether or not I'm busy minecrafting or something.

I'll work up a character in my mind...or might stick with my cruel ninja, not sure yet. But I'm definately for this. Its difficult to find decent RPs...a lot of the sites are twilight infested these days -_-

I WOULD, but I forgot my entire backstory to this and so it makes my character slightly pointless.

I'll be fine with restarting it. My characters come with a backstory that I make up as I go along, so I can screw it up at will. Thanks goodness for amnesia.....

Yah, I think a restart is in order. A similar opening still stands, though we'll be a bit more ambiguous about it. You can start as you like this time, within reason.

 

Just name your character, choose a weapon for them and a general alignment. Magic is very rare and difficult in this world, and your characters start as the first remotely powerful new magi/magae in centuries.

 

Alternately, I could simply accelerate the timeline and put you in after the events that were going to take place in the last incarnation of ToR. Maybe you'd even get to face off against your old characters... hm...

 

Now, I want to know what a good starting area would be, and if I should start you together or alone. Remember, this isn't an RP like "The End of the Beginning," but rather a set of storylines you all take part in. Give your character a personality, but don't assume too much of a backstory.

Well if it's roughly backstory free, then I'll just go with a scythe user.
