January 3, 201115 yr Author So tomorrow morning I'll be leaving to Santa Cruz in a somewhat nomadic quest for spiritual enlightenment and stuff. I have a couple friends there that might let me stay with them, but otherwise I'm pretty sure I'm sleeping in my truck. I'm bringing my guitar so I can play on the streets and make a bit of money (hopefully) for food and gas. I should have enough to get home if I eat cheap. I'll be there for three or four days -- I haven't decided. I need a break from my everyday life and everyone I know here. The whole time I lived in San Francisco, I never once visited Santa Cruz, and I ALWAYS wanted to. UCSC doesn't offer a degree in English or I'd definitely be applying there. If any of you live in the bay area and are willing to make the drive to SC, send me your number in a PM. Dead serious. I can't wait to leave.
