Retech said that I'd get the leadership position after defeating the other lords and ladies, which is basically ensuing a civil war. I said I monopolised silver Retech said I monopolised a type of silver, technically I am not wrong. So yeah... Where am I wrong? Okay, first on the issue of monopolisation. Icu researched a unique alchemical process which generates a higher quality of silver. That is what he has a monopoly on, not silver in general. Remember monopoly doesn't necessarily mean total control of a market, just a high degree of control. As for China, it is a fractured and destroyed country. Its government doesn't have a firm grip on its people, meaning that in all likelyhood, Icu will only have one claim out of many to the throne. That would probaly require heavy investment to secure that claim. Sri Lanka is small and full of peasants, meaning it is only controlled by local strongmen. Local strongmen like marrying up the ladder with royalty, but they have many rivals. It is more like forming an alliance. Larger more stable nations like Japan will be harder to marry in to. Rather, you may be able to secure a royal marriage alliance, but inheriting the country would require heavy investment, defeating rivals, and all that stuff. Inheritance is not supposed to be an easy way out. :thumbup:Ireland didn't want to form an alliance... :( Anywho, when is the next budget reset? I wanna fight people.
