Last time, I posted on here it was about magic, and plank make, I got so sick of plank make, and the constant clicking that i just gave up on that but hey i got a few levels.

 

Anyway, I wanna afk magic, so i can do my exam stuff for college. So i was wondering, if I do String Amulet, How much money would i lose from 88-94. With selling them, to the Rogue guy, and without selling all the amulets.

Assuming 5 gp/xp, you're looking at about 10.08M roughly from 84-99. At that current price (as of today) it's going to cost you ~50M after selling the amulets.

unless things have changed a lot, buying amulets are the hard part. Corporations on the RSOF were a good place to buy previously, getting them on the ge was nigh on impossible.

Yes, orbs for battlestaves. Buy the orbs, run to the Air Obelisk, cast the spell to charge um all, bank, rinse and repeat.

So it would cost me 50Mil from 88-94 Magic..I see that. But losing 50mil? from those little 6 levels. I dont see that.

You pay for speed. You're best off just sticking to plank make.

Well instead of being stubborn about it you could try actually calculating it yourself.

(price of runes + price of unstrung ammy - sell price of ammy) x (the xp from 88 to 94 / the xp the spell gives) = what it will cost you.

Well, Like i was thinking i would just be paying for the loss of the Astrals correct? because the rogue trader would just buy all of my gold amulets back? right?

I'm assuming you'll use a mud staff, you'd be [developmentally delayed]ed not to.

Cost of unstrung gold ammy (and they seem to be particularly low today): 133

 

Total:451

 

Minus the 140 you get from selling

 

311 per cast

 

Using Tip.it's calc you'll need 63,841 casts from 88 to 96

 

63841 * 311 = 19,854,551

 

Or near as damn it:

 

20 mil

Charging air orbs is pretty slow magic xp at around 40-50k/h depending on your method, but it requires very little attention once the orbs are going. It also profits a little.

I'm not going to for 96 Mage, Guy at work. Lol Just 94, so I estimate my losses at 12Mil.

 

But for sure does the rogue guy buy all of them, because i know he buys 10k at a time?

Yes rouge is a black hole of buying power, unfortunately he used to buy things at the min ge price, but merch clans abused that, and so now he only buys at low?/high alch price

I just realized that, it takes forever for gold amulets(U) to sell. So I was wondering if it was a good idea to Fire wave, steel, and Irons. Would I make profit, or would i lose, break even?
