Hey are there any DDR players around these parts? =) I've been playing @ the mall for a year or so now. I now have the home edition.. =D!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can only play on light, a few standard. I basically only like fast songs. Post your favorite song if you play too.

I have all the home editions, and stepmania, There are only a few songs i can't do on heavy, and i just passed max unlimited about 2 weeks ago, so i am pretty happy with that

Awesome, well my favorite song is Speed Over Beethoven. That is on DDREXTREME2. Mwahah.. I love the workout mode. It keeps track of the calories I burn. So from all the time I spend on runescape just sitting I can spend time working out on DDR! (Yes, people have lost 50 pounds playing this game too!) =)

I have DDR Max 2 and DDR Extreme. But, unfortunately, my metal pad broke so I'm forced to play with the controller. :(

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, I can complete all the heavy songs but three. My favorite is Can't Stop Falling in Love (Speed Mix). I've gotten AA on that song with only 5 greats. I've only gotten two AAA's and both were light songs.

DDR rocks my socks! i got DDR for ps2 a little while ago and i am addicted! FFR (flash flash revolution) is the typing version of ddr and its a lot of fun too. not so good at that yet, but still trying!

Lmfao. I've never played it, and I'll never played it. Ever since I saw that fat kid do it off Ebaum's world, then fall, I've always looked down upon anybody who does play it.

I use to play DDR alot but got too addicted & wasted way too much money at the machines on weekends after work. I quit playing but it was fun while it lasted.

I love DDR. I got DDRX2, and its awsome! I can do only some stuff on Standart though... and even then i only get c's. But i can do almost any Light dance.

well my friend had it so i gave it a try in easy mode and i sucked at it so i never played it after that...and im a guy so i don rlly like the game, but im not sayin the game isnt for guys to play.

Wow, never knew so little people played DDR! I have DDR Extreme; my bro sold the others for another game...dang him...anyways, I bought CF Metal Pad 2 weeks ago for $348.65, and have been playing it every day for 1 1/2 hours. I've been playing DDR for about 3 years on a plastic pad, and on the arcades, and I can beat any lvl 9 song on heavy and below, but can't withstand 3 lvl 9's in a row...never tried it, but i can do like 5 lvl 8's in a row. ON HEAVY. Light is good for a beginner, but i mean, you gotta go to standard eventually. It's usually about how familiar you are with the song, how fast you can move, coordination, and stepping techniques (it sounds dumb, but it's true). I weight about 250 lbs and can do this; if I can do this, so should you =p.

i play and i do light and standard with my friend who has it beat, he is CRAZY GOOD! :shock: Im going along in standard while he gets B's in Challenge mode. He's lost like 20 lbs now and hes only like 100 lbs from the amount he plays

Lol I actually did a few standard today and I'm well quite proud of myself. =P I quit for a year @ the mall (then went back to the mall) and recently bought the home edition so yeah... I just don't like those 1/8 beat arrows or whatever. They mess me up. But I have Extreme and Extreme 2 (my friend let me borrow his Extreme recently)

BTW, if you want to get better, and your a real dihard fan, take up a musical insturment. the timing on my trumpet allowed me to get the beates really fast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Those 1/8 beats are not so hard casue im used to having them in the rythem of my songs i play.

My sister has DDRMax2, and when she plays it and there is nothing I am doing i'll join in sometimes. My favorite song is either Twilight Zone (Mortal Kombat theme), or BreakDown.
