Ieyfura
I know a few ranging tips, are you willing to spend little (less than a mil), moderate (just a few mil) or a lot? Sephy_
I think training atk would be decent at the armoured zombies with piety, salve (e) and whip+r defender. Prayer = D Bones at gilded altar.
Pwn_4_free
for ranged if you have a spare 50m you can use red chinchompas at ape atoll till 99. its around 250k xp per hour. If you're going for cheapness i recommend giant spiders (i use void with iron knives here). They attack you so you can afk so time seems to go faster. 40 - 60k p/h. Im currnetly tanking avas for around 10m profit which i will use to chin to 99. they are 40 - 50k xp p/h Hope this helps.

Another method (but risky) is full void, kniving yaks in a PvP world. As you dont pick anything up, have dragon bolts(e) in your ammo slot, a rune c'bow in your inventory. Best def pot you can use, food, 2 prayer pots and a ranged pot, as well as a teleport. The rune c'bow and pots are so you can fight back if t'blocked. (This nets you about 80-90k exp an hour) "Don't get in my face, don't invade my space. I'll put you in your place.I'll only tell you once, I'll never tell you twice. Mythrandir
Attack: Armoured Zombies with salve amulet (e) under the chaos altar. The (e) on the salve amulet comes from completing Tarn's lair [http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=tarns_lair.htm] and enchanting your salve amulet, increasing its bonuses to +20% attack and strength rather than +15%. You also will want to wear prayer boosting gear such as prossy and a helm of neitiznot. There's a lot of guides on armoured zombies if you want more information.Another option would be to do Zombie Monkeys on Ape Atoll. It's a bit less crowded, but you will be losing money that you spend on prayer pots. Prayer: D bones are really the only way to go, unless you want to buy frost d bones. A gilded altar gives you 350% of the exp you would normally get for burying them. You can build them in your house at level 69, using tea and a crystal saw to boost up to 75. Note that you need to use marrentil tar on the burners by your altar each time to receive the bonus exp. Alternatively, check the forums for people with open houses who will let you use their altars. Ranged: If you have a decent income I would definitely recommend chinning, as the cost of chins will be far smaller than the extra time you spend using slower methods. Troacctid
Last I checked you needed to value your time at something like 800k-1m gp/hr for d bones to be more efficient than babydragon bones. And I think it was like 500k gp/hr for big bones. Give or take. Point is you might not want to use d bones if you don't consider yourself very rich. crashNburn
That would be a little under 32k dragon bones at a gilded altar, with both burners up. Interactive dungeoneering floor mapper
