If exiling treasonous nobles is perfectly fine, then I will send an ambassador to the conference. :)

Prussia is unlikely to use the weapons, I have had them for a good while now and where mainly there to test how far Dusty would let me go before getting involved(Watching House so that explains that) and it let me use the picture.

But the weapons should be totally banned for use against each other. Use not against each other is questionable, but is not forbidden...and obviously you can ignore the conferance if you so wish.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Did I say it was effective?

Also gas has never been particually accurate, and is rarely effective....Despite millions of tonnes being fired in WW1, and thousands of deaths, it didn't have any major effect.

Someone needs to get their facts right before covering themselves....

I wasn't telling you, I was merely informing the others not to listen to your silliness about how it should be able to kill their armies entirely (which you would say at some point or another and then it would start a big argument).

Merely nipping it in the bud, wotwot.

Giving Mexico winter specialist is a bit strange :S, no cold countries border Mexico, and the nearest if Canada and Alaska, which you have to cross angry Native land to get to :S.

I also purchase 8 Frigates

Royal Navy

16 Double Deckers

10 Frigates

Remaining budget 9,060,000

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Prussia is getting increasingly worried about the revolution in France and is making strong overtures to the French Government to react now or 'allow' an International Brigade to deal with this problem.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Prussia askes Britian and Portugual if they could each spare a single ship(With as many guards as you like) to take part in naval celebrations in Prussia.

As the two most skilled Naval Nations in the world, we believe that we would greatly benefit from what they could teach us in just one short week, and who knows, we might even teach you something.

(Looks expectantly at Dusty)

Elsewhere King Frederick of Prussia asks his advisors(Dusty) how much it would cost to set up the Prussia Red Cross, to take care of soliders wounded in battles, and Prussian prisoners of war, if any are ever captured.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Thank ye kindly, we will have your ship back as soon as the celebrations are over.

I'm going to be away today so can all war plans against Britain be delayed by one day? As I will not actually be able to retaliate in anyway...

Russia is getting increasingly worried about revolution in France and is making strong overtures to the French Government to react now or 'allow' a Russian Brigade to deal with this problem.

How does that even make sense? You just had a semi revolution of you're own, where you atleast tried to make life better for your peasants, and modernize your country. Invading another country to stop a revolution will only cause your peasants to get pissed off, and even more of mine. Your ideas for invading wouldn't even work, it's not like revolutionaries are wearing giant sashes saying "Kill me for I am a dissident." You might be able to take back the fort, but there is no way that a government would let you traipse through the entire country. All that invading would do is kill a few obvious peasants, anger a million more peasants, because the last thing a starving peasant wants is an army running through his fields, and demanding his food for the greater good.

Plus it would probably cause a revolution in your country.

I never said that I was going to be dealing with the revolution in a bad way.

What if Russia was worried that the revolution was going to be crushed by the Prussians, pressuring the French government to improve the lives of the peasantry, or allow the Russians to do that for them? Just a hypothetical. Twas supposed to be a joke. I haven't the will or a way to send a huge army through the Holy Roman Empire and Poland into France.

Yeah, something told me that Russia wouldn't get involved...

Though it was a fairly silly suggestion to begin with...Since the French Government is hardly going to let the Russians come into their country and help the revolutionaries overthrow the government.

But since it was a C&P job I put two and two together and realised it was a joke...potentially aimed at discrediting the effort, meaning no one took any interest...though people were unlikely to do so in the first instance, and perhaps I am thinking too much into this.

@Doom:

Obviously we couldn't fight a conventional war against the revolutionaries, but we can exert pressure on the French Government to actually spend money, rather than having a 60+ million Ducet chest waiting for your inevitable victory.

Or we invade, and make you seem impotent, hypocrits or wear badges that say 'I am a dissenter'.

Do nothing.

Attacking your fellow Frenchmen while they fight for freedom.

Create/recruit armies to fight Prussia.

(Depending on Dusty, obviously)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

And idk, what exactly would the point of setting up a Red Cross be?

The Portuguese Colonization Train rolls on.

All successful, no complications.

Netherlands has colonized:

1 province in Africa

2 provinces in North America

2 Provinces in the pacific

-----

Isle of Wight update:

- 1,000 Fusiliers and 2 British frigates attack the Isle of Wight

- Russian Nobility's poor quality line infantry cram into the fishing boat and try and sail away

- Fishing boat is sunk by British frigate, all drown

- Russian nobility surrender

- British officers search their new prisoners, and find a rather disproportionate amount of Prussian coins in their possession.

And idk, what exactly would the point of setting up a Red Cross be?

Flavour...developing the game world...emotional blackmail later on...

The game is very dull if all we do is pm you research and the number of troops we are invading somewhere with...and occasionally respond to random events.

Plus it sets stuff in motion....40 years time the changes that I, Retech and Doom are making will have begun filtering down to the common man in the street...which means that the game will change in one manner or another...

You can share tech if you'd like.

Is there anything benefit to it(currently)?

A book called "The Flaw of Monarchy" has been published, outlining the problems with a system where the rulers are based in blood, rather than merit. It is distributed to the following provinces. Speeches are given in those same provinces, and we purchase 20,000 of the standard rifle/musket, and enough gunpowder and shots. How much should all of this cost me?
