Napoleonic Hegemony

Was that edited in, because I didn't see that the first time. Population doesn't seem to matter, so I don't know why I brought that up. Immigration restrictions are lifted, however the rule stands.

Propaganda must be submitted to the Russian government for approval and the government will be the one to print and distribute the propaganda, with a clear seal stating the authorisation (as long as it's not lying, it'll probaly be accepted) and the nation or group which wrote it. No Prussian citizens are sent to Siberia unless they break laws regarding political dissidence (not asking for approval)and espionage, which is the same as every other nationality.

Prussia finds the Russian laws on deportation of Siberia intolerable, if any such sentence is passed on Prussian Citizens then Prussia will be deeply offended.

Prussia carries on with plans as per normal, except no leaflets are offically(I can't vouch for individuals, I am not searching willing volunteers) are sent to Russia.

Censorship, we say, is a crime against Humanity.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Serfs were already freed.

Right. Leaflets without imperial seals are turned into the Russian government's offices, and those found distributing will be given a trial by Russian judges. Those found guilty on a first offense will be deported back to Prussia, where it is the duty of the Prussian government to keep them there. Second offences lead to being sent to Siberia.

Rocco, I think it would work. The only places where there are sufficient numbers of people for the propaganda to be useful are cities, where it is easy to arrest the pamphleteers. Another interesting thing is that since this is a Napoleanic Hegemony game and Dusty wouldn't make propaganda himself, I always know that there is a player behind it.

Prussia reminds the Netherlands that it is a Confederal Crown Republic...Their King is Willem, the Fifth, of Orange

And their King is married to Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia....

Prussia refuses to limit freedom of movement, but agrees to this two strike law.

Until the food runs out because the leaflets are in Rural Russia....

How's that siege of Warsaw going? I think it's been a year or a year and a half since the last update, so maybe they've all died?

Russia offers Poland two offers, these being the final ones.

Offer two:

Poland pays 20 million in reparations, and 5 million in the next reset

Russia guarentees the protection of Poland as an independant state

Poland accepts this offer.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Fellow countrymen, today is a dark day, but it is not our darkest. Remember the days when a King could take all of your belongings while your children starved, remember the days when Louis would gorge himself on piles of food, when you had nothing. Times may be dark now, but there is a light in the future!

Prussians speak of us as warhungry animals, calling us godless swine. But what are they? They must follow a religion or be executed, and was it not they who invaded us, whereas soldiers of our revolution have never once crossed over our border to attack another land? They laugh at our new freedoms, mocking them, but in the end, we are the moral victors, we have freedom.

/stuff that really doesn't matter except for roleplay.

Oh, Grim I forgot to answer your PM as I checked it on my phone, which doesn't let me answer. I don't think I've seen him mentioned by Dusty, so for now I'll just leave things as they are.

Random responces by various people in France:

Remember not a tyrant, but a caring King, who paid, from his own treasury, for Food shipments to France from Prussia and America. Remember a King who, when captured, did not ask you to sacrifice your lives for his freedom.

Can the revolutionaries say the same?

Remember not Prussia as a warmonger, remember that they asked for peace, they only intervened when the revolution began butching innocents.

Remember not Prussia as intolerant, indeed those who live in Prussia do not need to follow God, though it is asked of all.

Remember not the Revolutionaries as educated, they have not even read the Declaration of Human Rights.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Well Doom did inquire about grain shipments from Russia, but I didn't know if my farms were producing a surplus or not.

Archi, you're just making stuff up now.

Response from random people in Prussia:

Remember when ol Frederick decided to help out them Frenchies? Me neither, where's the bread at?

So you're saying the Holy Roman Empire now has freedom of religion? When did this happen? And who's to say that revolutionaries haven't read the declaration? We did write it after all.

Prussia asked for peace with a loaded gun to our head.

Also, Admiral Archi comes up with a Brillant new Defensive Strategy...

Use Prussian Soliders to man the Russian ships, then, if any ships are sunk, no Russians were harmed.

*Agreement around the table*

*Next day, after the Russian Fleet has departed for maneuvers*

Hmmm, this is odd, it seems Admiral Archi left us a note 'Hahaha, gone to Prussia, apparently their leader has heard of me and offered me sole command of the combined navies if I joined him'

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Tiny lie about who came up with the idea, and payment but still.

So you're saying the Holy Roman Empire now has freedom of religion?

I don't control all the Countries in the HRE, but part of the Declaration of Human Rights states:

Article XII - No one may be forced to change his opinions, provided that their manifestation does not trouble the public order established by the law.

Article II - The goal of any political association is the conservation of the rights hereforth laid out. These rights are survival, prosperity, security and freedom of belief.

http://forum.tip.it/index.php?showtopic=272561&view=findpost&p=4429927

And, matter of order, I wrote it, with help from the Magna Carta.

Prussia asked for peace with a loaded gun to our head.

Prussia hardly held a loaded gun to your head...For one thing they were a few hundred miles away and Dusty wouldn't allow guns that were a few hundred miles long.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Oh, I was thinking you were talking about the Declaration of Rights of the Citizen, which is the French one.

And you asked for peace, threatening us otherwise. So yea, with a metaphorical gun to our head.

True enough, but really, when you see someone reaching for the nuclear trigger, putting a gun to their head and telling them to step back, isn't really a bad idea...

Worse case scenario, the other people in the room hold you back while he or she presses the button and vapourises everyone.

Short version:

French Revolution, leading to Total War, leading to the Revolutionary Wars, leading to the Lulz, ending the game.

Longer version:

France becoming extremely powerful by historical means

France willingly or by historical pressure, preparing for total war.

France invading Europe.

People either, ally with France because France protects them (and them being deposed as leader doesn't result in them dying in real life), try to fight France, or pretend to fight France, then reverse their position for the lulz.

France becomes superpowered.

Game ends.

Which would annoy me, since my tech doesn't come out until 1825.

Since the easiest way to stop that was to prevent the French Revolution, I tried that.

At which point people decided I was kicking Doom out of the game and so threatened to kick me out of the game(We kill to show that killing is wrong).

I then engaged in Operation Flee, where I attempted to make sure the bonuses France would get were not unbelivably powerful, or at least I got some bonuses against France so I wasn't one hit killed shortly after.

No real success there(as of yet  )

Now I am engaged in Operations Terror and Lulz...Basically trying to make France collapse on itself, making a war unnecessary, or delay it until France's bonuses have filtered out...and to collect allies that will not suffer from the Lulz at some pivotal moment.

Then I will probably engage in Operation Long War...Since historically other countries got more powerful as France fought them, so if I can hold out for a week or so, I should be able to manuever for parity...meaning France doesn't get superpowered.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
