Plus the longer it takes him to do attacks the less attacks you get, the faster my troops come back... So it's all good.

Random Event - Spain

'Splosion

One of our ships carrying grain to France exploded for seemingly no reason. Spanish authorities think it was because God was angry with them. That or spies. Probably spies.

 

Effect: Spain loses 1 Two decker ship of the line.

Prussian news:

Prussia wishes to begin restructuring the armed forces to be more inline with the recent influx of immigrants and to get back in touch with their Romanic Origins.

 

Only the Line Troops and the Imperial Guards are changed, everyone else is more or less unchanged.

 

Line troops are broken down into four Ranks:

Milites (Payment of a Line Trooper)

Immunes (Payment of a Line Trooper+25%)

Legionaries (Payment of a Line Trooper+50%)

Praetorians (Payment of a Line Trooper+100%)

 

Milites are the trained footsoldiers of the Prussian Legions. These men are non-specialists regular soliders, making up the bulk of the legions numbers. Alongside solidering they perform guard duties, labour work, building and other non-combat role. After serving for several years they become eligible to train to become Immunes, and thus become specialists with better pay.

The unemployed, immigrants and volunteers (all over the age of 16) are signed up after passing a physical and a background check to make sure they are not (immigrants) performing a skilled task already. (Checking if unemployed and volunteers are seems redundant)

It is sold as National Service, the chance to do your bit, get paid and such.

They have to buy their own armour and weapons, though since food and shelter are covered they should be able to do this (by degrees) over 10 years. After that prices decrease due to second hand sales, but that is in the future.

They are given the option to leave at 5 years, 7 years, 15 years and any time after 25 years.

 

Immunes are specialist trained footsoliders of the Prussian Legions, recieving better pay. These men perform the specialised tasks they were trained to do and are exempt from performing the dull or hazardous tasks such as digging latrines and guard patrols. Training can be on one of a varity of subjects: Engineers, musicians, military police, carpenters, hunters and medical staff are some examples.

 

Legionaries are Milites who have not specialised, and have continued to serve for fifteen years, gaining seniority among the Milites. Once they have become Legionaries they get a pay increase, better than the immunes. However they are entered into a new unit of similarly veteran units, where they are constantly trained and drilled, sent on long marches in full uniform, usually with weighted backpacks, and are fed a hearty diet. They are also exempt from performing the dull and hazardous tasks.

 

Praetorians are the elites, the Legionaries who have served for 25 years or more. Apart from recieving double pay, they are also given officer training at the Prussian Imperial Academy. Their training and drilling do not decrease, but they are again segregated, away from the Legionaries and into Praetorian divisions. They are still exempt from the dull and hazardous tasks, but recieve new responibilties, such as Drill and Weapon Instructors, and guarding the King.

 

 

The Imperial Guard are enrolled as Praetorians from the off, and any solider who has specialist skills are given the rank of Immune. The rank of Legionary is given to all of the long serving Line Troops.

 

 

Predicted outlay for this is 2-2.5 million per half year(14,000 line troops and 3,000 Imperial Guard is 2 million, plus .5 million for the increased ranks), since this a professional, long standing and constantly being trained army.

And I told Spain that they'd get repayment AFTER the war. Also if they remember the peace treaty is was they wouldn't be allowed to assist them so that comment was redundent and the fact that they still helped America annoys us greatly. Especially after you made it seem like we were allies.

The attack was yesterday yeah, but the update is today, meaning any attack meant for today I would have reinforcements. I even checked the forum, I always update my army on the updates day, I've done so for every update save two, cause I was away.

When did Spain assist America after the first battle? We have had no relations with them since. The treaty also said Britain would stop all espionage in Spain, something you clearly haven't done.

Prussian ships are sent to evacuate the Counter Revolutionaries in Britany, or to fire cannonballs at Napoleon(Or whoever is sent to attack Britany)'s army(preferably killing the commander) without actually landing in France, if the Counter-Revolutionaries believe 19,000 is bigger than 40,000, and thus believe they have a chance and won't retreat.
