Alright, so I have 20 odd million now. Also, Archi, removing the giant rebellion would probably end the reign of terror also. I mean, in the end, they're frenchmen, and being brought off to Prussia for the next 5 years won't make them happy. Plus, try loading 19,000 angry guys into boats. Not so easy.

Not dying because Russia betrayed them(or seemed to) will probably make them happy...

 

And, if they are like all the other French people in this game, they are gonna stand in front of your cannons and get shot.

 

On the off chance I can remove them without them getting killed by your 'My army gets stronger with each battle' then I should take that chance.

 

 

Worst case scenario, my captains are total idiots and sit there while Napoleon shoots the cannons at my boats, and natural selection takes its course.

Best case scenario, I get 19,000 extra soliders...

The elite soldiers only have three tiers. Young, Medium, Old. I only have 1500 troops that would advance to the next level in this battle, so it doesn't make much of a difference.

In the words Robert McNamara 'Everything we did was a carefully calculated, but we never looked at all the things we did, and that is how we went from 100 nuclear weapons to 50,000.'

 

Meaning, things add up.

Well, it's not like my army will be getting that much stronger due to 1500 Medium Guard advancing in rank. Though if I ever need to, I can always conscript a ton of troops.

Also, Napoleon condemns some of the executions, etc.

I'm saying that if if 1500 troops upgrade to something a bit better, out of my 40k army it's not a huge difference.

 

It will have side effects, but it beats being out of the game. Plus I have the bonuses:

Sans-culottes (Less chance of revolts due to warfare)

Conscription (ability to conscript soldiers)

so that should help.

Neither of those counteract the problem I would have faced, but yeah, it would be easier.

 

Anywho, if making your army stronger makes no difference, then not making your army stronger also makes no difference.

-> Will make a difference, but not a big one. If I was making my entire 40k army significantly stronger, then that would make a big difference. All I'm saying is me upgrading 3% of my army isn't a huge change in my overall strength.

I gave grain to the commoners though. There were even Imperial Guard stating it was for the people of France.

I've not been keeping track XD I just drift through them.
