God Bow Discussion

Lap

Recommended Posts

There seems to be a lot of discussion about the god bows, but it is scattered throughout multiple threads, so I thought this thread might help.

What do you guys think about them?

Personally, I like having a faster bow than the dark bow be able to shoot dragon arrows. I also like how the god arrows aren't very rare, so using the arrows isn't super expensive. I really think the level to wield the bows should be higher than 55 though. I mean, that gives a level 55 ranger access to dragon arrows, and the zamorak special sounds deadly. I wonder how much spec they take up,

So do the God Bows have a higher Range Bonus than the Dark Bows?

1. "My ear's in a cup, I guess that doesn't count..."

2. "So heyyy, that's a pretty reasonable reaction huh?"

3. "So you up for NAFTA?"

4. "That went exactly how I wanted it to."

No, the God Bows have +80 range, along with +4 range. Only 10 better than the MSB. I don't know the speed of these bows, but I assume they are like a longbow.

the zammy bow is pretty much the ags of range and just has not been established as such. With either dragon arrows or zammy arrows it can hit 400's normally plus possible elemental spec, add the special attack in there and you can be K.O.ing people from as much as 90 hp in all possibility. I see this bow more as a pking weapon and not as a rushing one though it could be really effective at both.

As for the sara and guthix bows they are going to be a buy for me while range slaying.

Edit realized that my max hits were off lcool is right

IF the Tip.it Max Ranged Hit Calculator works fine, the normal max hit with void + extreme pot + eagle eye and accurate style is 358. I doubt anyone is going to use void and accurate style for PK .. so the normal max hit is 292.

Saradomin Bow has the potential to be the best healing weapon ingame. Only drawback i see is that it's hp over time like EE, instead of instant heal like SGS.

They can;'t fire dragon:

"The Game Guide, the in-game skill guide and the Grand Exchange are all showing different things for the god bows. Up to what arrows can be fired with the god bows?"

There is a problem with the images which we're attempting to fix now.

The god bows can fire arrows up to rune. The skill guide is a typo that will also be fixed.
