Sam Posted August 11, 2010 Share Posted August 11, 2010 You can set-up your avatar and signature by scrolling to the top of the forum, clicking the drop down menu, clicking 'my settings', and then navigating to the 'profile' tab. There is a little sidebar with links to the respective pages for customisation. You can't upload directly to Tip.It for your avatar, you are required to use an external image host. I realized I wanted to use it as my avatar, so in order to do that I needed to put it on the internet somehow. For that, I needed an image hosting service. I used imageshack. Once you register, it will give you the option to "upload" a picture from your computer onto their site. Once you do that, you can copy and paste the url (address) of the picture and paste it into the avatar field on these forums.
