Kitlana tries to pick up the creature in the hopes that it will keep her company, and bring more fortune to her rolls. (Sorry, had to say it lol)

Ross - You see an open door about 12 feet above your head. You shred the door anyways, and the shredded wood bits rain down through the manhole. +0.2 cartomancy.

 

Earth - You hear something squeal as you quash its head with your foot, then fail to climb the ladder due to a rain of woodchips cutting up your hands as you try.

 

Iey - You pick up a small ferret-like creature. It seems to like you, and hisses something in your ear that sounds like "You taste horrible." +0.3 animal communication.

i try to pick up the creature i stomped on, then climb up the ladder.

Ares throws cards at the wall to create a ladder, before climbing up to the door and looking through it.

Earth - You pick up a ferret-like creature, which then bites your arm.

 

Ross - You miss, and the wall collapses on you, knocking you unconscious and back into the sewer.

Ares wakes up and climbs the ladder yet again, before walking through the gap created by the wall falling.

i guess i deserved that.. i know, howsabout you ride on my shoulder?" i then put him on my shoulder, then climb up the ladder.

Ross - You're still unconscious.

 

Earth - The ferret bites your hand, then bites your arm again. You begin to feel woozy.

Ares tries to regain conciousness, and repeat what he thought of before.

" you dont like me.. hm.." i put the feret down, while trying to drain any toxic substances from my body.

I walk over and hold out my hand half curled (not a fist, but not with the fingers out) to Kitlana's pet, grinning.

Ross - You wake up, and realize that the wall fell over the manhole. You're going to have to cut it or move it.

 

Earth - You put the ferret down, and it scampers off into the sewers. You manage to drain some poison from your body, and notice that your shield has become brighter again.

 

Nex - The ferret rips one of your fingernails off and chews on it happily while you run around screaming in agony.

haha, owned nex. by a ferret no less. i continue draining the toxins, while going back to the lader.

I try to accelerate the process of fingernail growth on that finger, or else remove the need for a nail by toughening the skin like the rest of his hand.

 

(I thought I wasn't holding my fingers out, but alright. :P )

Earth - You drain the rest of the ferret poison out of your body, then climb the ladder. Once you've reached the top of the ladder, you realize that Ross inadvertently knocked down a wall on top of it. But before you can think of how to confront the issue, your shield activates and laser-blasts a hole in the fallen wall... and the rest of the building.... and an unfortunate satellite that had been overhead. You, obviously, are knocked into the ground, unconscious. +0.3 poison.

 

Nex - You accidentally cut off all blood flow to that hand. Well, at least it's not bleeding any more...

Holy [cabbage] that shield is powerfull.. i try to wake up.

"Thanks for the exit" says Ares, prodding Earth with his foot before climbing up to the building.

Earth - You wake up.

 

Ross - You climb the ladder back into the fallen building.

i climb up the lader while examining the shield.

Ares continues through the hole in the wall, and looks around.

Earth - You slip while trying to climb the ladder.

 

Ross - It's an old office building turned sideways. What are you expecting to find?

i again try to climb the ladder... ergh..

Ares looks around for office supplies. Pens, string, a working PDA if he can find one, and any miscellenious items which might be out of place.

 

Given that this is after some kind of apocalypse, I assume there is SOMETHING useful here, at the least. No point in not checking.

Earth - You manage to climb the ladder.

 

Ross - The place has been ransacked. And whatever wasn't taken has been basically destroyed in the building collapse. You do, however, manage to extract some weak string from the remnants of a carpet.
