meh. i would say something about random distruction, but its old now. i try to get out of the building, while checking on my shield.

Ares picks a random wall, one which he thinks will lead outside, then gets out of the way and starts throwing cards in a door shaped pattern at it. If a hole is created, he runs through it, and repeats this with every wall he comes to until he gets outside.

 

Inb4 ceiling collapses on me.

Earth - You see no way out, until you see Ross making doors with his cards. You follow him, and are thus knocked out by the wall falling on you.

 

Ross - You cut doors in 3 of the floors-turned-walls with your cards, but on the 3rd (and final) floor, you cut the door-shape and the wall falls out around it, landing on both you and Earth. You are now unconscious. +0.2 cartomancy.

okay.. i try waking up.

Ares wakes up, takes a card, and starts cutting the slab into small bricks to free himself.

Earth - You wake up, and your shield activates again, vaporising the part of the wall covering you, your eyebrows, and most of your hair.

 

Ross - You wake up and dice your half of the wall with a card. +0.1 cartomancy.

"always wanted to be a bld guy. hair always got into my eyes for my projects..." i get up, dust myself off, and try to feed the shield poison.

(Yay I have a talking ferret companion. So cute xD)

 

Kitlana lets the ferret get comfortable on her shoulder before turning to Nex.

"Should've asked em first," She says slyly as she gently pets the ferret.

 

Turning to the ferret with a warm smile, "You have a name little guy?"

Ares takes one of the smaller slabs, cuts it into about the width and length of a card, then cuts it into card shaped flakes of rock.

Earth - The shield glows more brightly as you give it the poison from the ferret.

 

Iey - The ferret hisses something indistinguishable.

 

Ross - You attempt to make more cards, but fail to cut them well enough for them to be usable for anything besides cannon fodder.

i try to make poison cards for ross, and then try to get out of the building.

i can make people halucinate with poison mather. but if thats your choice, your choice.... tho i would suggest a mele weapon, ammo will be scarce, especially for.. something that sounds completley inoperable.

Can we stop coming up with frickin' stupid improper names for magic?

 

I mean really, Cartomancy? Illumancy!? Things like "Necromancy" are latin words with actual meanings, can't we just say _____-manipulation or something?

Illumancy is a proper word... ever heard of illuminati, latin for "the enlightened" (a group of inventors and such that were working against the chruch)? Illumancy refers to the act of bending light as a sort of magic and is as such a proper name.

meh. i cant convince anybody of anything, eh? and doesnt cart mean cards in the french language, and possibly in the latin one? and.. really, who cares about using latin words. jsut makes things more complicated.

Cart is actually map, thus cartography.
