Madouge
I wish to raise my mining to level 77, but I hate mining, so I'm gonna trry and get as much bonus exp as I can via BA and Stealing Creation. My question is, is it worth charging up the horn for use on mining, or is the bonus not really worth the time spent. Click the pic if you wanna see a Ranged Slayer blog. Brodly
If you enjoy BA more than Mining it's definitely worth it.
Madouge
Looks like it's BA for me. How long does it take to fully charge the horn? Click the pic if you wanna see a Ranged Slayer blog.
Obtaurian
A little more than 10 rounds (more than 100 waves). To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Taihaku
Charging up the horn was definitely worth it for me, It takes 10 queen kills to fully charge it, but depending on your mining level that may not be necessary. Have fun with BA ^^
xpx
It's worth it if you only do mining and not worth it if you are doing the lrc mine+superheat. Also, BA is much, much more enjoyable than mining. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015. tigershelby2
I have started to charge mine for agility, and it is totally worth it. The only bad/annoying part is when you cant find a team, or you team is just stupid and doesnt do what they are supposed to. Sephy_
It's definetly worth it especially if you can to get into the level 5 teams where you rush through waves quickly. Not only saving your nerves but also time.
Tylon_Dragadon
Earlier this summer I spent what seemed to be an extraordinary amount of time filling my penance horn from empty to full...And let me tell you that it is WORTH IT. I got from 75ish mining to 77 with penance horn and sc picks, went soooo much better.I hadn't leveled mining in years, and I actually found it enjoyable again  I did coal trucks with Seers headband 3, coal and gem bags, cammy teletabs, and about one and a half sc picks per trip.A Coal bag and a spirit terrorbird and you can empty the trucks in 3 runs to the bank. Since those two minigames are time not spent mining, I found them to be worth it.I'm going to get some more picks and hit the conc. coal again for 80 mining soon. Oh, and my horn is still around 2/3 full, even after all that mining, some firemaking, and some agility training. It takes a while to charge but it takes even longer to run out. Totally worth it. I may put something here eventually.
Troacctid
In order for it to be faster than actual mining, you need a competent team. That means not using crappy W6 losers who quit in the middle of a round and make it impossible to finish the queen kill. Get together a group of friends, find a BA clan to join, or start your own. Also, PM me if I'm online and I'll join you. I still need to level up some of my roles. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
