RuneScape Quiz #5

Featured Replies

Did you do the quiz, what did you score? Personally I scored 14 and think that the questions are maybe a bit too easy. I guessed correctly on two which I didn’t know the answers of, but answered one wrong but later realized that I actually know the answer so I guess it evens out. The correct answers is in hide tags. If any of the ‘correct’ answers are wrong post it.

The quiz I'm referring to is the current RuneScape poll.

1: Pyrefiend

2: 5

3: The Wise Old Man, the resident legend of Draynor

4: The ancient earth-mound burial tombs

5: Ice Sickle

6: Werewolf

7: The cheeky injured squirrel in The Poison Arrow Pub

8: 10

9: 60

10: The reward point system of the Thieving Guild

11: The former vampyre juvinate of Mort Myre

12: 40

13: 90

14: He's the adventurer seen bothering cows on Alice's undead farm

15: The Rising Sun Inn, Falador

I got 14/15 as well. Did it just now. Got wrong on the salmon one.

[insert birds flying in a circle here]

Yes, that sig was annoying.

They should use my questions :P

Questions with exp values/numerical answers aren't really creative in my opinion, like the salmon question. More lore/history questions would be cool.

all the quizzes have been fact tests, rather than tests of understanding. Questions of understanding are the ones people ask of you in the game, answering those would serve an educational value. facts like they've asked about can be found in the knowledge base and fansites.

questions like: how does the speed of mining for the inferno adze and rune pickaxe compare?

what is the most profitable mining per hour in f2p for someone with 70 mining?

what is the closest teleport /transport feature to green dragons?

these questions would teach players understanding they can actually use in the game, not passive knowlege. i've been very unimpressed with this use of the poll system.

14/15 :D

And I agree with Warriormonkx.

They should have questions that isn't just xp numbers or stats.

They should revamp the poll system and create two polls each week. One would be a question relating to future unreleased content or proposed changes to existing content, asking players what they want. The other one could be something silly or useless like these types of polls. Some people have fun filling them out, but the poll system is a resource they aren't currently using!

Good idea: I know you can post questions/suggestions/etc. on the RS forums, but I'd be willing to bet that they'd get better feedback from polls like this. Quick & easy to answer!
