thinking about a clan...
Sesquialtera replied to Sesquialtera's topic in Looking for a clan/group/team
Oooops. I guess I should have said this sooner, but I decided to join Spirits of Arianwyn. Thanks for all the offers, though. :) -
What about switching to Armadyl chestplate instead of black d'hide top? Or would that be a bad idea? ::Edit:: Oh never mind...someone already suggested that. lol.

So, I tried a few months ago to beat Nomad, and after ...a million... times, got to where I could almost get him down to his final berserker attack. Anyways, I've worked on my melee/magic/ranged/prayer stats since then, and I think I want to try again. The biggest jump in my stats was from 75 to 81 ranged. Any suggestions for a setup at my levels (see sig)? PS: I'm kind of poor. Lol.

Interesting quiz: and I'm not at all surprised at my result. :)

Looks like her. Well, sortof. I didn't do it intentionally, but I totally can see it! :)

Oooo, that was fun. And I spent wayyy too long trying to find the *best* combo. And I spent a lot of time giggling at people running around "naked." :)

Yeah, no kidding: I've been trying to work this out for a LONG time...keep counting and re-counting...and it's starting to drive me batty. Lol. :wall:

Ahh, memories. :) This thread has potential for epicness. :)

Fold laundry. Would you rather have to live in complete silence for the rest of your life, or listen to a eternal stream of techno music in your head? ::edit:: sorry to anyone who loves techno...lol

Umm, it's in Argentina...and apparently Sarah Palin said "Buenos Aires" instead of "buenos dias" in a speech once. :wall: Stockholm

I think I might try it for a while: at least for the change of pace!

Good idea: I know you can post questions/suggestions/etc. on the RS forums, but I'd be willing to bet that they'd get better feedback from polls like this. Quick & easy to answer!

I'm currently about 50k away from 82 woodcutting, and I was wondering if it's worth it to do sawmill tasks. I do have a crystal saw. Is it better or worse, speed-wise, than ivy? Oh yeah...and my goal is to get to 99. :)

Nebraska = north of Kansas, lots of farmland...they grow a lot of corn, like most midwest states And the college sports teams are overrated. ;) Topeka

"You Know When You Have Been... When..."
Sesquialtera replied to ForsakenMage's topic in Forum Games
omg, I totally did that not too long ago...lol. I've also done this, too! Maybe I HAVE played too much recently... You know you've been playing Runescape too long when you go to the zoo, and catch yourself looking for penguins dressed as inanimate objects. -
Maybe kiwi makes your tongue hurt because it's so acidic....? I'm not a picky eater, but there are two things I absolutely cannot stand: sun-dried tomatoes, and tomato soup. Just thinking about either of them grosses me out. *shudder*

Tastes great too. It's the only hard drink I can drink without flinching. I have to be careful with gin & tonics (gins & tonic? lol...) because they hit me really quickly...lol. Most of the time: Guinness or cider. I was introduced to ciders at a pub in Prague. Goooooood memories.... :) A sort of weird thing: the only thing that makes me feel horribly hungover in the morning is wine. It's weird. I have no problems with hard liquor!

Alarm clock. :-P Coffee...

That's been happening to me today, too. I got it to work by choosing a different world...and I had to wait a minute for data on the worlds list to load.

Oh, I can't believe I hadn't thought of the slayer task idea...that might be a good option for me. :) You think Karil's xbow would be best? I've been using crystal bows. Here's the rest of my setup, too: Verac's helm, god cloak & stole (for prayer bonus), Arma chest, Verac's skirt, snakeskin boots, archer ring.

Thanks. :) I probably shouldn't have posted *right* after I died, but oh well. I'm sure I'll try again...and again...and some more. ;)

Yes, the ignore list IS your friend. :) Having a gender-neutral RS name is handy as well... I honestly haven't had issues with this in a long time. Might be because I spend a lot of time in combat gear, so people can't see my pigtails. A few days ago, I was cutting ivy at castle wars dressed in full dragon, and started chatting with some guys that were there. One of them asked me what drag full is going for right now, and I took it off to price check (I really didn't know...it was a VERY lucky pyre ship reward from mith dragons!!!). They were all surprised to see that I was a girl, for some reason, but weren't obnoxious about it. It seems like more of that happens in F2P worlds, as people tend to be a little more noobish. ;) I guess the best advice is just to ignore people who are all, "wanna be my gf?! ur hawt!!!1!!!1" Don't let it bother you. :)

I just have to let this out: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I feel a little better. :) I've attempted the fight cave more than a dozen times now. Through trial and error, I finally came up with a setup that seems to work for me, and have made it to Jad ever since, without much trouble. Once I figured out my setup/strategy (ranged all the way), I can make it to the healers, and then I always proceed to totally lose my control of the situation! I keep freaking out and trying to take care of everything at once, I guess, and then don't watch Jad as closely as I should. I've gotten way better at switching prayers when the healers are NOT there, but haven't made it past them yet. It is so frustrating! I've spent countless hours working my way through all of the waves, just to die at Jad AGAIN...I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get that stupid cape. The rest of the waves are getting really old and time-consuming (AND resource-consuming!). Same sort of thing with Nomad: he's the only thing standing in the way of being able to wear my quest cape again...and I generally make it halfway through him before I'm brutally murdered. :wall: I guess the only way to *really* be good at this game is to be able to switch/multi-task...and have some good luck once in a while.
