For making supercompost what item is the best to buy for it? Say I was using pineapple could i put all weeds then put one pineapple in it for it to still be supercompost? Also what's the quickest way to get to the Harmony patches? Should i also use amulet of farming?

Thanks in advance!

It has to be all pineapples etc for it to be supercompost, sorry. I have no idea how to get to the Harmony patches, I don't even know what grows there lol.

Personally mainly use pineapples - you can get 40 from Arnhein in Catherby for 80 gp every day.

On allotment/herb runs I usually take 15 pineapples (or occasionally other supercompost items) to the Falador patch as this is the first location I go to, and put 15 in the Catherby one as well as that's close to bank.

Basically you can use tree roots, pineapples etc on the same load without messing up the compost, but it must be 15 items that result into supercompost - adding even one weed would turn it to regular.

Harmony patches are too much effort in my opinion.

As for using an amulet of farming - not usually, though that depends on what you plan to farm and the other requirements you meet.

Alright dope, do you need to be wearing it for the warning and can you have it on more then one?

You might want to look at the details of the Amulet of Nature and Amulet of Farming to understand the difference.

As for using them for herbs, not really worth the trouble in my opinion. Herbs take 80 minutes to grow, and it's not required to do a run right after they do, which is why I don't use them.

I wouldn't farm too much ranarr - toadflax, avantoe, and kwuarm (among others) are better generally speaking.

Don't bother with Harmony, it doesn't even have a herb patch.

As for super compost, grow watermelons, harvest them and put them in the bin. Alternatively, use pineapples, purchase them daily from Arhein at catherby docks.

Since I always start and end my RS session with a farm run, I don't bother with the amulets. If you are prepared to come to the rescue for you herbs (as in interrupt combat/slayer/skilling), use a amulet of nature for the last herb patch you did. It'll notify you when the herbs are done, so you can get to another farming run.

I find the amulet of nature is just a good timer for telling me when my herbs are done. Mines bound to the Trollheim patch o.O 'cause that's the last patch I do. I'm rarely on long enough for my herbs to grow...but if I am, it's a nice timer for my next batch of herbs. And I find that if another patch is diseased, it won't have had time to die if you farm your herbs as soon as they've grown.

And yeah, harmony has nothing going for it. If it had a teleport and a herb patch, maybe...

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

As for super compost, grow watermelons, harvest them and put them in the bin.

Growing watermelons to make supercompost is expensive and slow. I prefer to buy supercompost on the GE; much faster and you don't need to futz around with allotments, which, like, triple the length of your herb runs if you plant them.

horray for fertile soil (magic super compost = win)

i plant sweet corn only because if you use a scarecrow it cant ever get disseased. i am not sure if it is super compost or normal though. also it is not that great xp i just do it for farming rocks. cause it is cheap.

good luck

Normal. But watermelons don't get diseased either when you plant nasturtiums or white lilies.
