I don't understand

Zoov

Recommended Posts

I watched countless videos. I have a perfect setup with 11 super restores, 80 diamond bolts, a kyatt pouch, and 15 saradomin brews. I then also have a turtle with 18 more brews. Every time I try the nomad, I barely get him down. He kills me so fast I have to eat all of my brews and I don't damage him much. Am I missing something? My ruby bolts aren't doing much.

I have 83 ranged and 83 defense. Please help me!

It's mostly down to chance- if you have luck and can get him down to 1/4 health within 2-3 rounds, you stand a chance in beating him. Remember, the minimum damage one round takes is 1739 lp(2,75 brews), and it's usually much more, so if you can't do much damage within the first round it'd be smart to quit and try again.

Use the pillars if you aren't already. If you stand slightly behind a pillar so he runs to attack you and ends up trapping himself 2 squares away, he will only attack using mage and ranged. When you need to eat, you step to the opposite side of the pillar and take no hits. You can also pray sap mage and sap range to reduce his stats. You will have to let him hit you with melee in the last stage.

You do use a kyatt, do you? If not, get one ASAP. Also, what Bentomat says, leech his magic and defence (leech magic + defence drains less than sap mage + ranger). If you can, soul split works wonders. If you need just 1-2 more brews, then know that normal restores can be used with brews in a 4:1 ratio (instead of 3:1, saving a little space on restores).

3 out of the 4 "special" attacks can be avoided in case you didn't know..

The mines can be avoided by not walking on them (duh)

The 750 damage can be avoided by hiding behind a pillar

The clones & their damage can be avoided by standing behind a pillar for around 30 seconds to a minute

As for your gear and inven, and strategy;

- I'd swap the diamond bolts with a BGS or claws, and some of those super restores with normal restores, ppots, and brews

-I recommend using black dhide armour

-Make sure you have a good 100 or so ambush scrolls. Use the kyatt as soon as the tort runs out of brews. KYATT IS AMAZING (sorry, had to say that :P)

-You should pray eagle eye at all times, and pray melee during the berserker stage

-If your not using them already, use ruby (e) bolts as your primary bolts as they can hit 750's on Nomad

-Use the "pillar method" as some people have already mentioned. You stand near the pillar, run behind when you need to heal, and you use them to avoid 3-4 speical attacks from Nomad

-Using the kyatt is what made me win against Nomad.. I think it actually did 90% of the damage to Nomad once I summoned it.. Just spam those scrolls and watch your health!

Good luck, if you have any other questions or anything you can message me.. :)

Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.

What kind of armor do you have? You using protect from magic prayer? Both of those actually make a difference.

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Are you skipping multiple attack turns when you brew/restore? I wasn't used to using brews on my first couple tries and it tripped me up because I tried to spam them. Once I figured out how to make sure I kept hitting him in between sips, I did much better.
