Getting past the trade limit

you know the old story, I want to trade my x item for more than the trade limit allows me, the street price for red mask is beyond 150m gp and I would like some advice besides [developmentally delayed]ed answers like "dun use bug abuse noob/dun cheet/just wait 35823 years till street price=exchange price/omg making junk is retraded" so idiots please keep off, if you can't say anything useful

 

most popular method is obviously the junk method but I don't have any and I wouldn't know any method to get junk without wasting far too much time

Sad to say but your only options really are:

 

Collect junk via skilling/Treasure trails. (Dragon masks)

make money normally and by then you'll have both enough to barter with the mask AND make normal profit.

But yes as Tim covered the only option is getting junk, skilling is pretty much the best method but even so it is slow; no way around that.

Sy is muchos right here. There really is no way to get "quick and easy junk", If you want to sell that mask for street price your going to have to work your ass off to do so.

Treasure Trails and perhaps Zammy GWD are the only ways to collect junk that aren't a complete waste of time, you could also borrow things like claws or an ags for something and get junk that way, but you'd be better off making money the regular way than to go out of your way to collect junk. And those "idiots" are right, you'd be wasting your time or breaking the rules to try and get much higher than it's ge value in a trade.

The way most people do this is by buying an item that's being manipulated, then selling the price-inflated junk (often after it starts crashing) along with the rare on the street market. This helps you get closer to the street value of an item in cash.

2 methods, one completely ok with rules, the other somewhat against the spirit of some rules:

 

Buy x amount of crashing junk lowest and sell it with the mask- you make 5% of the market value of the junk.

 

Manipulate the price of some low demand/supply item until it rises high enough- you can make up to ~90% of the market value of the junk.

 

edit: also a third method:

 

Sell the item for x amount of rising items- you can make up to ~20% of the market value of the rising items.

 

But in any case, a red mask doesn't have alot of street value and is 95% sure to crash in the next month.

make broodoo shields

 

sell broodoo shields for 50% junk and 50% cash

for every 10m gp you put into making broodoos, you get out about 12.5m in shields, which you sell for 6.25m gp and 6.25m junk. so you make 6.25m junk out of 3.75m gp. If red mask is worth 250m, you could do this method to make about 40m profit over its mid price - you will make about 40% of the street value.

 

also note that it takes time to make broodoos.

You got three options.

 

Hold onto it as its he value rises.

Sell it now and invest the money towards making money

Come up with a way of creating or collecting junk. But keep in mind time equals money so if the collecting of junk takes up to much time its not even worth it.

 

Finally not really an option but a suggestion, cut out with the attitude your acting immature.

Thanks for all the info, I was hoping for some other way that I didn't knew about and was better/popular but better luck next time. Also, you people should really start listening to this guy's advice and stop being so immature, he knows what he's talking about.
