Chaotic Weapons at TDs

If I'd be doing tormented demons for cash (as in enough cash to get 96 herb,turmoil, yak, etcc) and I have a rapier already, should I spend my time getting another chaotic wep/shield for TD's or just spend that time just killing tormented demons?

 

(Like, someone said on zybez that the CLS is around 2% better then the rapier.. would that extra 2% speed up kills enough that I should go back and spend the time to get the cls?)

Yeah I would either get chow or cls. I would get crossbow since rapier is already awesome. If you have good Internet connection, you would get back there in plenty of time. You don't even need to use sup. energies to get there.

My internet connection/crap computer can be horrible at times, so I'd be weary of bringing 2 chaotic items if I'd loose one. :(

No where close to having the cash.. lol, thats why I want to have pro gear for TD's so I can rack in the claws.

No where close to having the cash.. lol, thats why I want to have pro gear for TD's so I can rack in the claws.

currently i keep fury, rapier, and claws when i die, losing zerker (i). i'm not sure of the alch values but if you don't have claws you might be able to keep two chaotic weapons, but that doesn't mean you should, as having claws as a spec weapon might be better than having a chaotic crossbow over a rune crossbow.

I am currently at about 20-25m cash, and I have 65 herb and 71 prayer so far. So I still need quite alot... My stats aren't the greatest. :(

 

No claws though, but I can get a cheaper spec wep

Only hally can almost match up to claws. Regular rapier attack beats all other specs. And btw you need a dozen claws for the goal... Gl on that lol

I'm currently getting cash (or so I hope) from tds as well, and I can say whip does pretty well there (I have turmoil). Granted I never tried gs but I think rapier should do fine.

A rapier is the best chaotic weapon at tds.

There is no great difference in any of the chaotic melee weapons for TD's and which is best for someone is likely down to their killing techniques(switching speed, use of shield, use of familiars), but it's certainly not worth getting another chaotic weapon just for TD's if you already have one.

I do Tds quite a lot and have a rapier and a cls, don't have a maul so I can't speak for it but to me the cls seems slightly better. Not quite enough to go get one *just* for Tds, but I prefer it over my rapier there.
