SpikeStr1ke
So i can finally afford 85 herblore but it will almost break my bank (leave me with around 2m or so. Is it worth it? I have a steel dragon tasks so i could easily use the super anti's there.

However there still is a cutoff for a minimum amount of cash you want to have. You'll need money for certain important purchases on the fly as well as for buying up seeds for farming runs etc. You'll find only having like 200k cash in your bank is seriously limiting, unless you're F2P. OT:Just go for 84 herblore. Greenman ales are easy to get from a PoH or random pub for making super antis. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Nifflin
From 84 herb you can make special restores, which are awesome, ale to super antifires, which are less awesome only because getting the second is a pain, but most importantly you can stew to extreme attack and extreme strength. So if you get 84 rather then 85 you should have enough cash left to be safe. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.
ruben1026
Really 85 herblore is nice for super antifires those metal dragon tasks go by so fast with a zammy spear. But herblore don't get good till 88 with extremes.
PereGrin
I would perhaps wait till you can get a bit more cushion in your bank before you get super antifires. If you spend almost everything in your bank, you feel like its hard to restart. So i would say never spend more then 70% of your bank on anything. purekilljoy
Get 85 for sure, I did it a couple of days ago and it is indeed AWESOME. Stew to super atts and strs, and killing dragons wit 2h weapons is really sweet. Cost to 85 herblore - 60M, SS- 8M, 2 hitting blue dragons -Priceless. :D
Elf Spice
Just stew from 80. As good as super antifires are, they're not worth breaking your bank. You would only need around 2-300 super antifire (4) to be set for 99 slayer.
NastyJenny
2M is still plenty to work with, it is more than enought to cover daily activities which profit.
Smapla
i wouldn't spend any money on herblore until you have enough to get to a level to make extreme attacks and strengths. whether this means you'll get 85 and stew to 89 or that you'll just get 89 is up to you. but really i don't think superantifires or spec restores alone are worth that much
MstrMonopoly
Don't get it until you can easily get extremes. I piety the fool.
exdeath
Yeah 85 is a good level. Stewing 4-5 levels takes some patience, but it's not hard. After you get the boost you can keep it by logging out every 45 seconds or so. That would open up extreme attacks, strength, and defense. I personally don't use extreme defense much, but I use extreme attacks and strength for combat all the time. I got a lot of my level farming avantoe, turning them into super energy pots, and selling the super energies. I would advise against making recovery special potions. You're not saving gold, and you'll probably never use them. Offering 91 and 93 herblore assists. PM me in game.

But yeah, super energies are your best bet going fr herb 85 for xp/gp ratio. I did that as well, and they sell fairly quickly.
