Nomad: what prayer?

They don't seem to work on him. Just use soul split, and once he's in his "berserker mode" maybe try melee protection, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference even then.

^ This is what I did, used melee just for the hell of it (you won't be pulling a lot from SS when he's in berserker mode anyway).

I've heard some people suggest melee, some mage. As stated above, I don't believe it makes a huge difference either way.

I disagree. Although he can hit through prayer, I found that protect from magic made a difference for the fight. As for his berserker stage, he's obviously using melee there, so pro melee.

*looks up your stats*

Hmm, according to your profile, you CAN use soul split o_o

Might be a better idea then pro mage - although for berserker stage I still recommended pro melee.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Using super restores, you should certainly have enough prayer points.

Soul split all the way to berserker. If you find you're getting hit too much there, pray melee, otherwise just ss.

I used black d'hide and a zamorakian spear, as he appears weak to stab.

Seeing as you have the prayer. Soul split + turmoil all the way until he berserks, use melee protection then and be prepared to heal quickly. He can inflict serious damage quickly through d'hide if he catches you off guard.

You'll be fine for pp. I used leech defence/attack/strength/magic + soul split and prayer was never an issue.

Just be sure you get a good ratio of super restores and brews, assuming you take those. Don't bother with combat boosting pots during the fight, however pot up at the bank chest prior to fighting. I found that little advantage really helped initially.

Also i'd totally recommend a kyatt familiar with about 100 ambush scrolls, after using all the supplies in your BoB. The Kyatt's special attack can be basically used as fast as you can click and is surprisingly accurate. Very handy when Nomad beserks and you need to focus more on healing than attacking.

That said, you should be fine. Good luck and don't be discouraged if he gets you. A bit of luck is involved in this battle.
