There has been mass violence between the Lebenese and Aussies in Sydney this last couple of days.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It all started from the Lebenese Gangs bashing Surf Life Savers down at Cronulla Beach and now has esculatored (sp?) into violence between the Aussies down at Cronulla and the Lebenese Gangs. Yesterday the violence turned big after text messages were sent around saying for the Aussies to go and reclaim their land and 5000 turned up yesterday at the beach. Violence broke up with many getting injured. Then last night the Middle Eastern Gangs struck back smashing cars and making severe damage to property with crowbars and baseball bats. Innocent people who were trying to protect their property were even held at gunpoint! The local RSL (Returned & Services League of Australia--our war veteren's associtation) even had their Australian Flag stolen off the roof and burnt! My Uncle who lives right on Cronulla Beach says that the violence seems that it will not stop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So my question is to all those Sydney Siders and fellow Australians what do you think should be done about this violence? Do you think it will get worse and do you think the Police have handled it well thus far?

I believe everyone has a right to live in this country but causing violence (by first attacking Life Guards at the beach), then destroying property and even burning our nation flag is not on and there is no spot for such people in my country!

Yeah I agree to a extent if they don't want to obey our rules and cause a muck then they can go back to were they came from. I believe that the soft approch from the Government (to not offend people) has caused this violent outbreaks and a harder stamp on the holigans causing these problems is what I believe should happen.

Yeah I agree there are plenty more nice lebs out there than bad ones but I am talking about the Lebenese Gangs who go out their causing trouble. They have no right to do that in a country which has welcomed them and their families in with open arms. If they want to do that then they should be locked up or sent back were they came. We turned off at the closest turn off, but we didnt relise that the way we decided to go out would be so ****ed, it was the exit OUT of cronulla bouveldard, so were going through the steet, and we see like 4 police cars flying up heading towards the heart of nulla which is only 20 seconds away, we are scared as **** because of the ammount of wogs we saw in cars going nuts, we turn the corner and my stomach turned inside out, wogs all over the side of the road smashing parked cars, wogs smashing the 7/11's windows, wogs in the middel of the mediem strip wearing ballerclavers going nuts, we start to pick up the pace to **** off, only to notice where we were heading, on the side of the road, one of the parked cars boot was heaps of them throwing wepaons out and handing them out, paseball pats, poles and ever guns, we starm to zoom up, a wog call putss out in front off us and from the side where the car is behind us, we hear BANG BANG, they were shooting at us.... all while hodges quickly sweaved around the car blocking us in and we went pedal to the medel 200 stright up getting the **** out of there, seeing wog cars LINED the **** up the get into cronulla, almsot about 100+ all heading there way there or already there. On the way home, there were car loads following us hanging out the window, waiting for us to pass thme at lights and they would start chaseing us, it was the most ****ed experence of my life. Cronulla is ****ed right nowand i prey that none of my friends get hurt becuase some serious [cabbage] is gonna go down and there will be a death for sure. They are trashing everything in sight, breaking into resterants, bashing up the people inside with baseball bats and even units next to it. its [bleep]ed, ill keep oyu updated with what i know this **** is MESSED. Weird thing is how things are reported throughout the world. In England it's being reported as though it's a racial attack by Australians fueled by neo-nazis supposedly and they're basically attacking all Middle-eastern-looking people. That's because it IS a racial attack on them. I even see some racists posting in this topic. I'm half Italian, half Australian, I am unbiased in this matter. I live in Melbourne western suburbs btw, but here is my opinion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A few Lebanese bashed a couple of lifesavers, ok. Aussies don't like the Lebanese, Lebanese don't like the Aussies, ok. The Aussies are telling the Lebanese to get out of "their land" (ironic, weren't they the ones who nearly destroyed a whole race, stole all their land and took away a whole generation of their children in the 1950's?). Lebanese are Australians too, and the racial slurs and the amount of property damage that the 5000 Australians caused to the Lebanese outweighs ANYTHING that the Lebanese have ever done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All I hear from the Aussie side is that Lebanese always rape Aussie women, threaten them with stabbing and act tough everywhere. So Australians don't rape people too? Australians have never made a threat to stab someone? I live in West Melbourne as I stated earlier, I know a lot of respectable Lebanese people. Of course there are some bad Lebanese/Turkish gangs, but there's lots of bad australian gangs too..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My take on this whole cronulla situation is that the 5000 people who attended the riot are racist. For the acts of a few lebanese immature men, they are taking it out on the whole race and their whole community.
