October 21, 201015 yr The primary use of the sling and the new wind spell is to allow new or low levelled players to train magic or range without having to buy runes or ammo with money they may not have. The exp is good for level 1-10ish but after then it is almost as slow as training prayer to 99 by burying normal bones.
