More questions for you guys

As always, I have a small list of questions I'd like some help with.

1. I've heard of some extremely fast methods of fletching, something to do with bolts? What exactly is it, and does anyone have any approximate gp/exp ratios and exp rates?

2. When solo dungeoneering, is it really worth it to do c6 meds? They seem to take a lot longer than c6 smalls, for such a minimal amount of extra exp. Also, what floor do the spiders that drop shadow silk hoods start appearing?

3. About how many bones can be offered on a gilded altar per hour? Assuming I'm using my own house with house tabs, and a war tort.

4. Where is the best place to find people to assist with effigies? I've tried going to daemonheim (forget what world) and everyone was rude and wouldn't help, and I got the same response in some of the CC's that I tried.

5. Are chinchompas still the fastest way to train ranged? Alternately, is range slaying effective?

Thanks in advance~

EDIT: Answered questions are crossed out

You can try ''Effigies cc'', they might be able to help you.

Assistclan is bigger than effigies cc. Effigies cc is less moderated and they allow payments/bribes, but assistclan is frequented by more people I find.

I think Effigies cc was one of the ones I tried, it wasn't very friendly and took hours for me to find someone. I'll try Assistclan instead. Thanks much!

Adamant bolts are 350k to 560k XP an hour is you use mousekeys.

Only thing I can really help you with.

So it turns out like I was thinking of broad bolts rather than broad arrows, and so the question (albeit a different one) still stands. Anyone know?

there are two major methods to fletching broad bolts with mousekeys.

1. the 456+ method

pressing these keys in sequence moves the mouse to the left, left-clicks, moves to the right, left clicks, and can then be repeated. this essentially uses the left pile on the right pile over and over again

2. the 5+ method

pressing the 5 and + keys at the same time in your inventory results in a double click. you are responsible for moving the mouse between the two piles. this method is generally harder than the 456+ method, but most believe it to be faster. i'm not terribly good at it but after like an hour of trying it i was able to fletch as many bolts as i could with the 456+ method, indicating that i could probably go faster than the 456+ method using the 5+ method.

Sounds great, I think I will try it. Thanks :]

I got around 840 bones per war tortoise on a gilded altar. A war tortoise lasts for 43 minutes. Works out to be 1100-1200 bones per hour, slightly afk.

Yup, Grimy's prayer spreadsheet says 1,297 per hour.

Night spiders drop the shadow silk hood and they appear on floor 12-47. And according to rune wiki, you're more likely to find the spiders on 5:5 large floors.

Perfect, thanks.

By the way, where can I find all of Grimy's various spreadsheets?

Chinchompas are still the fastest ranged exp when used in ape atoll, and ranged slaying is faster now than before with the FSH but it's still not that good when compared to chinning.

5) Chinning is the fastest, especially when using this:

Overloads (or extreme ranged potions), rigour, void (deflector), armadyl chestplate, amulet of ranging, ranger boots, archers' ring (i), Ava's accumulator and a steel titan + scrolls.

You can also cannon stuffzzz

Edit: if using curses, you can also use leech defence to decrease your opponent's defence to hit more frequently... an amulet of zealots will also boost single-skill-boosting prayers by 5% (e.g. eagle eye's original 15% to 20%)
