November 21, 201015 yr Author Just finished merching some whips: Here's what I'm doing right now: I actually bought 10 of these, but the first one was at mid price to see how the trend was. These should rise tomorrow so I'm looking at a projected 5m profit here.

Well monks today were going up. I checked the GE chart and saw they rose and I also put in an offer for mid price and it didn't sell instantly. This means that there aren't people willing to sell for mid so I put in the offer for 1gp over mid price and waited 10 minutes. They started to sell and I bought them up in about 5 more minutes. I will now sell for 1 under the max price because there are people willing to buy for that amount. I.E. The people who put in the offer for mid price and don't get it instantly so they buy it instantly for max.
November 22, 201015 yr Author Unfortunately BGS's crashed as soon as they went up so I had to resell for the same price I bought at. However I was able to merch these overnight for a 760k profit Also updated cashpile

Unfortunately Godswords are pretty unstable right now, but the last investment I did with SGS's got me 22m. Good luck with your goal. It will take a long time to max out, but think about what you will be able to do with all that money once you have reached your goal :o Thanks man! I probably won't do anything with the cash. Runescape skills bore me nowadays

Good luck with your goals! :^_^: I've been flipping whips for years and they are a personal staple of mine. I'm not a big fan of flipping furies though - profit margins were always way too narrow in my experience with them.

Yeah whips are almost always a sure profit, but I can only use 30m of my cash at a time on them so I have to put my cash somewhere else. Saw furies were doing decent today so I took the risk ;)
November 23, 201015 yr I dont suppose you would be able to help me out with finding the right buy/sell price? I tryed doing 20 d hatchets last night with no joy, only got 9 of them in 1.5 hours lol if you dont want to let your secret out dont worry :)

I tryed doing 20 d hatchets last night with no joy, only got 9 of them in 1.5 hours lol if you dont want to let your secret out dont worry :) Really it's all about playing around for a bit. What you want to do is check the grand exchange and see if the item is going up then go to world 2 and see the amount of people buying/selling that item. If a lot of people are buying it's going to be above mid and if a lot are selling its going to be below mid price. You start with a really low ridiculous price. Then from there you work your way up 20k at a time. Every time you do this you wait like 2 minutes to see if anything sells without cash back. If it sells slowly then you know you have the right price. If it sells too quickly without cash back try lowering it 5k until it sells slowly. As for sale price I usually do around 400-600k profit per merch unless it's a bigger item such as godswords.
