December 8, 201015 yr It's had a huge street price for a while but with the mentioning of the damage soak update there was a bit of panic which made them buyable in the ge, among other things. It seems like Jagex is taking pains to preserve the quality of items (ie today's update with the Dragon Defender being out of pattern in an effort to preserve the usefulness of higher-leveled shields/armor) so I don't know.

Of course it's going to shoot back up after the update, not sure if it will stay there long at all, and it may slowly (or quickly) permanently crash after it shoots up.... But still. December 8, 201015 yr Even before the December BTS, Ely was buyable at max after a couple hour wait. It was certainly on its way to a crash, the BTS just sped things up. That said, it'll probably bounce between junk and rising for a few weeks before settling on a slow decline.
