SpikeStr1ke
Ok so im going to be range slaying for a bit (to finish off my 99 hp and work my way up to 90 range). I need some gear suggestions other than the obvious FSH,Accumulator, ect. Also what tasks are good to range from kuradel's list? Right now i have blocked Black Demons (im going to unblock them as their good range xp), Kalphites, Suqah's, T-Dogs, and Steel Dragons (should i unblock for the range xp in kura's dung?). I have 747 points to cancel any horrible xp/non rangeable tasks. I also have 20m to spend on gear adjustments. Current Gear Setup:Full Slayer HelmGlory (should i buy a range ammy?)Black d'hide topBlack d'hide Chaps/V skirt (when i need to tank a task)Barrows GlovesSnakeskin BootsSlayer Ring/ Fero ring(when in Kura's Dungeon)Rune CrossbowUnholy Book/Spirit Shield P.S Please dont tell me to chin because im not going to start ANY chinning until after 90 range. Also please dont link me to the range slaying guide in the AOW as i already am using it but i want to get some other opinions on gear/tasks to cancel. P.S.S I have full range void but i dont have the deflector. If anyone can help me get it, would using full range void with deflector and arma plate be better then black d'hide with FSH? Bladewing
if you only have 20m to work with, here's my recommendations: 1. get a chaotic crossbow2. get rigour3. buy an archer's ring. -1.6m, + 4 ranged attack4. buy an amulet of ranging (until you can afford fury). -900k, +5 ranged attack5. buy ranger boots. -18.2m, +5 ranged attack for tasks, i wouldn't block suqahs - they're a quick task and actually pretty decent xp. i wouldn't block terrordogs either since they are so uncommonly assigned. i recommend you cancel or block all metal dragons since they will be very slow with ranged and don't pay out very well anyway. SpikeStr1ke
Hmm well atm im saving all my tokens from Dung for my Crapier so Rigour and CCbow will have to wait. The rest i probably will do but if the diffrence between Snakeskin boots and Ranger Boots that noticeable?

Quyneax
With an unholy book, glory and no other prayer-boosting items, you're stuck at 8 prayer bonus, and I'd recommend getting a fury for 2 more prayer, or armadyl for 1 prayer, or some other item, as ranged slaying, like all slaying, is much faster when using prayer, and still profits. Phew long sentence. Knives/darts for Kuradal's, of course, but those don't work on metal dragons very well, hence you block them. Bladewing
ranger boots give you more ranged bonus per gp than armadyl, which is why i recommended them instead. you could instead buy a fury. be sure to eagle eye and use [extreme] ranging potions 100% of the time. ghjkl
Use void instead of slayer helm. Void gives more ranged damage and on slayer monsters accuracy doesn't even matter that much. Also use a cannon to speed up the process.
SpikeStr1ke
Im not buying a fury atm as i've already bought my ranging ammy and i can only afford one peice of arma at the moment so kinda goes back to my previous question. If i can get a deflector would full range void with arma plate be better than black d'hide with fsh?
Bladewing
on lower defence tasks (i.e. the ones you want to be doing anyway), yes. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit

SpikeStr1ke
the KB is wrong, void increases your ranged level by 20%. K, well if i can find someone to help me get the deflector ill use my range void with arma plate(or just save that money and use my elite void top/bottom). Sinkhan
the KB is wrong, void increases your ranged level by 20%. I thought it was 10% ranged levels, which is equivalent to 10% accuracy and strength, and on top of than 10% ranged damage, so 20% more damage. Equivalent in strength, but not accuracy bonus. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
