muggiwhplar Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 As someone who knows nothing about the economy and high-valued items, I was wondering if now would be a good time to buy an arcane spirit shield? I've wanted one for a while and they look like they're starting to get pretty affordable. Is it possible to buy one from the GE right now? Is the GE price accurate? If I can buy it off the GE right now, instead of having to figure out street prices, then I basically get a 9M "discount" since I can sell my mage's book and blessed spirit shield after obtaining one. Would it be a good idea to buy one now? Are prices likely to continue falling? I'm not really in a rush to buy one since I only play over winter and summer break. SoulWars Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 Looking at the overall graph (http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Arcane_spirit_shield/viewitem.ws?obj=13738&scale=2), the arcane spirit shield seems to be slowly reducing in price. However, it's not by much and it's over a long time, so there wouldn't be much loss involved in buying it. And no, it doesn't have a street value as its market price is continuously decreasing. Dragonlordjl Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 If you have any junk, I'd go to world 2 and see if you can offload some of it along with cash to reduce the price. I'm not sure if it is still like that, but a lot of people are panic selling their Spirit Shields because they didn't get any damage absorption. Otherwise, over the past few months the Arcane seems relatively stable at around 60m. It will go up and down a couple mil here and there, but it always seems to end up around 60m.
