I just got my iron titan and was wondering if I should use the scrolls on task. I am currently at CTS WFS and the scrolls are the only reason to use the Chaos Tunnel fiends however on a task such as black demons, I would use up to 500 scrolls a task, which would add up over time. So, should I use scrolls or no, and if yes, on all tasks or not.

I use Steel Titan+scrolls on most of my tasks(only Gargoyles from Kuradal's get away, as in I try to slay them in the cave).You don't burn that many scrolls during tasks though,1k lasts me for a while, beside a d boot pays for 1k+ scrolls.

An Iron Titan, at least from my experience - will get you around 30,000 experience an hour, this is with minimal manual scrolling(Just the auto scrolls stored in helm)

 

On Black Demons for instance this amount of experience is equivalent to almost 50 kills worth of damage.

 

50 Kills at Black Demons would be about 20minutes without all optimal gear. 20 minutes saved for 100k? worth of scrolls.

 

The titans with their scrolls will save you quite a bit of time & should definitely be used on most tasks. (Bar Gargoyles as you'll spend too much time waiting for a spawn, use Kuradels)

 

They will help an awful lot on Waterfiends due to their high defence & the fact you have to pay a fair bit of attention anyway, so manual scrolling & ordering your titan to attack targets is worth it here.

THe only thing they might work on are black demons & waterfiends. (and maybe dusties)

 

mages are too weak to have real benefit from the scrolls (too much clicking/xp then - I count difficulty in clicks/xp not time/xp). gargoyels should defnatelly be attacked in kuradal (more spawns + the ring makes up for the titan). - And also dusties have very low health.

Yes to all, do Gargs in Kuradal's.

don't even bother with spirit mages - they're so far spread out that iron titan, which can only use melee attacks, would not be able to walk over to them before you kill them.

 

use on all others except gargs, which you should do in kuradal's.

 

e: use cannon on black demons in taverly instead.

why wouldnt you kill wfs with scrolls? very worth it

as i said in OP, i AM using scrolls at fiends as i speak (well im at the bank.) Thanks for the input guys and I don't like cannoning and nor do I have the cash right now.

Pretty much on all tasks you can multi(except gargs, which only have 4 spawns in CT and they're easier in the cave).

When I slay with my titan I usually attack several spawns at once, slow spawn uncrowded worlds are ebst obviously(talking dusties/mages), and just let the scrolls automatically fire off.

 

For mages use the three by the Kril door and just let your character autokill them, I guess the iron meleeing may waste a bit of time though... Also consider the amount of time before/if you will get 99, because any spare iron scrolls will be basically useless then.
