Loffelicious
Ok, so I just got a shadow silk hood drop while soloing. I'm not looking to get into pro teams. I only dg with friends. We enjoy the dungeons rather than rushing.. Any reason I should bind it over my prom plate? Aslan
Will save you a lot of hassle if you kill the mages/shadows first.
D Jay99
Yeah I never noticed plate doing much, would definitely bind hood over it.
HexiledRazz
Plate prevents damage sometimes from most types. While the hood will prevent most enemies from even attacking you in the first place. I don't think that the SSH would be as used as it is unless it was actually useful. Hexiled Razz. gremmy
Because 1) it's really good, 2) you will need it in higher leveled teams, and later teams of pure friends won't be enough. 3) you might not be as lucky to stumble across one later; took me ~90 dg. Everyone binds it for a reason. Youmu
With the exception of Kal'ger (whom you should be praying against anyway), armor doesn't do much at all. Shadow silk hoods, however, prevents certain enemies from even attacking you. Some of these include the forgotten warrior, forgotten ranger, zombie, and skeleton. Seeing how the forgotten variants deal a [cabbage]load of damage to you if they are high leveled, SSH can really come in handy. Only thing you really need to watch out for are forgotten mages and necromancers, as they can deactivate your hood for a short while.
