Hello to all my fellow Taverners, and welcome to The Rec Room! Not all Tavern-approved games are played on this forum, and many of us here have a fondness for more conventional video games as well. This thread serves the specific purpose of allowing us to play these outside games together.

 

First of all, I will need all those interested to post a list of all the multiplayer games they own and would like to play with the rest of us. Please state the console it is for, and any other relevant information (alignment, level, hearth secret, whatever is necessary in connecting to the other players). I will update this first post with the list of games and who plays each, going in alphabetical order.

Yeah, only multiplayer stuff I play is Runescape (hurrr) and the Black Ops for PC I got for Christmas that may or may not work - I'm still not bothering to install it yet.

Anyone know how to change your profile name/username/whatever-the-hell-else-you-want-to-call-it for the PC Version of Black Ops? I'm too lazy to figure it out myself, especially after yelling at my computer for a bit to get it to work. Currently, it's using my IRL name, and I don't want that out on the interwebs.

Dunno. I got Fable 3, and Brotherhood.. I also got Starcraft 2. Brotherhood and Fable for the Xbox, starcraft for the PC. And.. Yeah, i usually don't multiplay a lot.

change your name in steam (i think blops is locked to steam)

 

on the right of your screen where all the icons are there should be a steam one

right click, friends

first option, change name

Other than RuneScape, The Settlers IV is the only game I... can play online...

Lol I just severely dislike how they got rid of stacks and put in nation-states.

City states add a fantastic new element. You're being an idiot and a purist about things you haven't thought about. Archi was the same!

Bah, my reason for playing civ IV more than civ V is simply because A: Civ IV has a [cabbage] tonne more mods than V, and B: Civ V runs inanely slow on my computer when compared to Civ IV. On a semi related vein a mod that I would recommend is the fairy tale mod.

Meh, maybe I'll dl it tonight and try it out

Getting a new laptop in january so I should be able to pick up some good games then.

 

edit: Picked up L4D2, the stalker games, and GTA4 for pc. Now to wait for my new laptop before I can play them :x
