muuuuuuuuuu
I've been killing frost dragons for a while aiming to make enough to get 96 prayer. Started at 83 prayer, currently 89, and I'm getting bored. Is it worth killing TDs without Soul Split, or will the lack of healing demand a unicorn and thus slow down the trips due to no iron titan? My stats are 95/95/95 atk/def/str 99 hp 97 mage 94 range 89 prayer 96 summ. Thanks in advance!
Nifflin
It's more fun in my opinion, though it will be slower then frost dragons. Iron titan doesn't speed up kills, steel titan does. You would want to use a unicorn, however I guess the iron titan doesn't hurt if you already are very good at prayer swapping and don't take much damage. It might be a nice way to mix it up, to do TDS until you get claws then switch back to Frost Dragons. I warn you that claws are crashing though and that could effect the profitability of TDS. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. gremmy
You don't need SS or any titan to kill TD's effectively. A unicorn and piety will do just fine. Iron titan would be a bad choice, seeing as it hits with melee, and a lot of your damage dealt should come from your own melee weapon. Obtaurian
Try DKs. They should be more profitable than TDs right now and you'll be able to kill them more effectively. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
bedman
I think if you are very good at switching, normal prayers are better because you can use piety AND rigour/eagle eye A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
Quyneax
If you are very good at switching you're using a steel and ss flashing as well, reducing food consumption to a minimum. But yeah, w/o turmoil you can at least use eagle eye or rigour which helps a bit, and a unicorn should basically be all the healing you need (perhaps an emergency brew). muuuuuuuuuu
So it seems being good at prayer switching is what helps a lot. Guess I need (a lot) more practice at that. And I hadn't considered DKs, but either until my brother is good enough to mage Rex or I can find someone to go with me as I'm not sure solo tribridding would work for me. I'm not getting as many kills/hr as the guide suggests atm, but I suppose that will increase as I get more experience with the DKs.
