Arrows/knives/bolts/thrownaxes/javelins/darts

So i recently invested on 1k of iron Thrownaxes, simply because they were cheaper than everyting else, although from what I've heard, they are just as powerful and efficient as darts/knives, so what's the reason for them being so cheap?

If so, what's the most cost efficient way of training ranged?

oh yeah, at 47 ranged i would cannon slayer tasks while meleeing until you are 70, then switch over to ranged + cannon slayer tasks.

or just chin from 47 (people will tell you that chinning sucks until like 90s, but this false - they only say this because you get less xp/chin at lower level [iMAGINE THAT DERP], but it's still an excellent way to train)

HE CAN'T EVEN BUY A CANNON.

Use throwing darts, they're cheaper then the knive alternative, and usually buy faster (especially adamant)

At your level either train on slayer, or something like...moss giants...I don't even remember what I did at those levels

Try to find some good ways to make money as well, once you start having a steady income, you can start doing the real training methods, like chinning and cannoning.

thanks guys for the input, and i do plan to buy a cannon after a good deal more herb runs.

range is my highest skill at 47, with everything else less than 40

I'm currently training slayer which seems to be going well, but on a 100k budget is 1k iron thrownaxes for 13k not a good deal?? seems like the cheapest possible option.

But obviously i plan to chin at higher levels.

and yeah, a cannon isnt an option in the forseeable future due to my poor budget and shopping list.

Thanks :D

PS: i'm still not knowing why thrown axes are so cheap?

throwing axes are so cheap because they suck, don't use them.

Use knives or darts

If you're working on less than a 100 k budget I would spend some time doing very easy money making (ie picking white berries or something similar). Its worth it to spend the hour and make ~400 k more to be able to unlock some better money makers. With 500 k you could start doing a lot of dailies which should net over 500 k profit in less than 30 min. That would more than cover welfare range gear and whatever iron dart fetish you decide to indulge.

Combine that with ranging stuff that gives ok experience and some profit (fire giants or cannoning green dragons) and by the time you hit 85 or higher you'll have a nice supply of cash for chinning.

Cheers

Cannoning chaos druids breaks even and gives you a part of your ranged xp without hp xp (you may find that attractive or not). Cannoning green dragons is also pretty good for you cash-wise but you are of a low level so they would probably shred you. I recommed staying away from the dragons and letting the cannon do the work, but only once you reach 61 ranged for a rune crossbow.

Get 55 slayer for broad bolts, they are adamant bolts at half the price.

Eh I think you should go with chaos druids w/o cannon for money for now, in the resource dungeon (requires a dg level, but it's pretty low, like 15 or 20 I think). Bring iron darts, pick up the ranarr spawn and just range them. At 50 ranged you can use the magic shortbow if you find darts too inaccurate.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
