Nose peg is only for if you're killing specters; luckily for you the Polly dungeon ones are not aggressive. Iceland is in the north Atlantic. Its capital is Reykjavik. Nothing, but since he's going down there, he might as well do it. The cave crawler one is the hardest one to beat, all the others are just pray this while wearing that. Might as well get it done sooner then later. As for the original question, iirc the smoke actually does not fully kill you, so you don't actually need to be wearing a face mask. If you plan to melee them, take the masked earmuffs so you can get in without getting owned by the banshee, but wear a black mask for while you're killing for the boosted stats, you'll be praying anyways against them, so they're not a threat (make sure to take anti-poison++ though) at low hp, and you'll have the boosted stats.
