Satenza
He he heee On the underground oass quest. When you talk to koksik ( can't remember which time =s ). He says 'The tyranny of evil men is beset on all his ways'. Those of you who have seen pulp fiction will know that Jules says this before he makes a killing (usually). So yah. Made me laugh. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have small purple pet elephants named Jack. Put this in your sig if you are one of the 8% who like to do the fandango on Wednesday afternoons

Bubsa
Meh, I say this on every pulp fiction thread but: DID YOU KNOW??? That all the clocks on pulp fiction are set to 4.20? This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

And 4.20 is a special day for cannabis users :o me bets it's a conspiracy I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
Futurama
There is a persistent myth that that all the clocks in the movie are set to 4:20 (although, certainly all the clocks on the wall in the pawn shop are set to 4:20). However, in at least two scenes it is obvious that this is not the case. In the "Bonnie Situation" while Jimmy, Vince and Jules are drinking coffee in the kitchen, the clock clearly reads 8:15. Secondly, when Vince and Jules go to retrieve the briefcase, it is "7:22 in the a.m.". The significance of the time 4:20 is that it is slang for smoking marijuana. :)

1_man_army
I think that's a Bible quote tho. Correct me if I'm wrong  its to Its supposed to be a bible quote but its a made up passage I think. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
Raiden2k2
I've got it memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that [cabbage] for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your [wagon]. I never gave much thought what it meant. I just thought it was some cold-blooded [cabbage] to say to a [bleep] before I popped a cap in his [wagon]. I saw some [cabbage] this mornin' made me think twice. See now I'm thinkin', maybe it means you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9 Milimeter here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous [wagon] in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. Now I'd like that. But that [cabbage] ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd. I did Copy-and-paste that, though, because I didn't know the rest of it. I know the quote, but not the scene.

Raiden2k2
I meant the scene where he's talking to Ringo. When he really explains it and thinks about it.
