bewareitsandrew
Well, I haven't been on tip.it in a while. I came back to Runescape for free trade, but not a week after I came back, I managed to lose the 8m cash I has in reserve. I'd really like to make that money back, can anyone tell me the best money making methods? I'd prefer fast ones, possibly combat based. zotto
getting 85 dunging is quite an investment for someone who wants to make cash right now. Get your farming up a bit and do herb runs.
bewareitsandrew
Any more suggestions? I'm looking for a way to get back my 8m at least fairly quickly, I don't really want to train anymore skills before I get to it, unless it will exponentially help the money flow. ^Hawt new Siggy^ Made by yours truly.Yeah, Spanish class is where everything funny happens.Click To see my Origami gallery![hide=Important drops]Important drops..... LitterBug
If you're worried about skill-ing being a time sink, I can assure you that farming is not. Herb runs take only 5 minutes or so and you can do them whenever. If you really want to go combat - I figure Barrows/DKs (if you're pretty alert) are both good ideas. LitterBug
Your stats are pretty decent - you can start solo-ing. However, having a few duo runs might be a good idea if you haven't played in a while. You might want to list your armor/weapon/etc so that people might make other suggestions. If you're totally broke - slayer is always a good idea. EDIT: Dungeoneering might be a good skill to train. However, I suggest you do tears of gunthix or something to get out of the first few levels. I would wait until at least level 15-20 to actually start DG-ing. One problem with DG is that it won't cure him of his money problem and definately wont help to gear him up by the time he hits 85 to go to frost dragons. On top of that his summoning is 70, and most people recommend having a pack yak before going to frost dragons.

Runetinal
Herb runs are definitely a good way to go. Dragon bones have recently skyrocketed (though they fell with the last GE update), so killing some dragons and banking their bones would be good. LitterBug
I hope you have a weapon! Some suggestions: Take that 1 mil - pour it into MTK and just make money for now.Go on some farming runs while training slayer - (I'm assuming you have the slayer helm? - If not, you should go get that :P) For some decent/quick money making - go on Herb RunsI'm planting ranaar seeds (even though my farming is 61) for the money. I have access to 4 patches and magic secataurs and on average I get about 25-30 herbs on a trip (the actual number is probably around 28). With clean ranarrs at around 5.5k and seeds being 9k, you would get a profit of about 100k per run (operating on a 25 herb per trip assumption). That's pretty decent for 5 minutes of work and especially because ranarrs pretty much insta-sell (I only put them on the market after a couple of days or so) while the seeds tend to trickle in throughout the day.Plant limpwurts as well - they're not great for money but you're already hitting up all the allotments. emgormley
seen alot on here, what is a herb run?
Th e Doctor
Doing a farming run on herb patches. For money, take that mil and do a day of dailies. Should bring in about a mil profit. Check the general guides section for the guide by laura for how to go about this. Take 1.35 mil and invest that into mtk if you have royal trouble done. If not go get it done. As said invest into herb farming every hour and a half. Do My Arms Big Adventure and Fairy Tale 1 for the magic secatures and a disease free herb patch. The average yeild per patch including deaths (with magic secatures and supercompost) is ~6.5 so with all 5 patches should bring about 32 herbs per run which is about 120 k profit per run. 8 runs a day = 960 k per day. Add in whatever moneymaker you feel like in between herb runs, or do a few dungeons for leveling dg so that you can get a hold of a scroll of life asap. Compensates for herb deaths by giving you a seed back 10% of the time when you harvest a live patch or a 5% chance of getting a random seed back from a dead patch.
