green9090
I wouldn't say crash. They'll go down a little bit (~10% if I had to hazard a guess). Th e Doctor
*ponders the reasoning for asking in help and advice knowledge that hasn't happened yet* In all seriousness we don't know the future. Common sense economics will say that as supply increases (more ways of getting prayer exp) and demand stays the same the price will go down. But none of us can know that demand will stay the same for any number of reasons so just have patience and wait to see. The update provided more ways to get prayer experience without providing more reasons, so the net effect of this update is a drop in the price of prayer experience. Sure, some crazy thing might happen to raise prayer demand, but this update would still dampen the effect of that. Put it this way- bone prices in the future will be lower than they would have been had this update not happened. vettro
I hope so. They will drop some, it just depends on how good this update turns out to be. It wouldn't surprise to see them back at 5k again.

This update won't change prayer if there isn't alof of ash farmers, and i think it's fair to say there aren't yet. Long term, prices will come down, but be can't know how long term. Think frost dragons but with more effigies and waterfiend-tier charms, but cheaper bones and no visages. green9090
dbones at 7k ea now. :wall:...Serious? I guess there were a lot of people waiting until after the prayer update to buy prayer levels lol. Should smooth back out within a week I'd imagine. Jeez 7k/dbone is a lot... I got my 99 prayer at 2.3k/bone, and back then we thought THAT was a lot. That_Brown_Kid
nearly everyone i know around my level is prepping their banks to buy turmoil... So many people are close to getting it... Everyone wants it so badly. Demand is sky high, supply is mediocre... Wish I can see 4500/dbone again
