zonda
Talk about some movies that really moved you in some way. On the topic of Society: -Crash Overall, an amazing movie. If you havn't seen it, rent it now. Lot of big name actors in it. -American History X Another great movie, makes you stop and think about society. Some area's are a little vulgar / mature... so yea. -The Cure This ones a little older, made in the mid 90's I believe. It's about a boy dying of AID's. Anyways, its very good, a tear jerker. Another must see. Other: -The Shawshank redemption What can I say, this movie was amazing. The action, the narration, the story. Everything. This is by far my all time favorite movie, ever, and probably always will be. -Training Day Good movie, could have toned down the language just a tad in my opinoin. Good twist ending, I like the way it portrays street life and the political system. -Four brothers This movies alot like training day, same type of deal in a sence. Not quite as good, but worth watching. Again, portrays street life well. Your guyses turn. I can't wait to hear this, maybe I will pick up some movies you guys suggest! ... Bubsa
Hi Zonda! Don't think I've spotted you around for awhile, it's good to see you! :) Some movies I'd suggest are The Green Mile, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull Saving Private Ryan (Just for the opening sequence) although the one's previously mentioned are all very powerful too IMO. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

MyPurpleCrayon
King Kong? Possibly the saddest movie I have ever seen. HEAT, Shawshank Redemption, and Full Metal Jacket. All are very touching in different way. Of course, HEAT and Shawshank Redemption are in my top 3, along wiht Boondock Saints (thought I would throw that one in there) so I am biased towards those. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
zonda
King Kong? Ugg, no offence. I couldn't stand that movie. Full metal jacket, err, yea that's a tad different lol. What is HEAT? I've never even heard of that, but if its right up there with shawshank redemption for you maybe I should check it out. What about classics? Not as in old, but as in those movies that are on TNT or TBS every saturday afternoon like clockwork. You know, beverly hills cop, rush hour, beverly hills ninja, leathal weapon... all great for killing a boring saturday afternoon on the couch! ... I might not agree with you on a lot of things but you just picked out 3 of my favourite movies of all time. Not many people mention Heat or The Boondock Saints, but they're both awesome films. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

Because I'm not too sure about that one. Full Metal Jacket, okay lets get this straight. The second half, not the first half, err..... hahahaha. you know why. Heat- Most likely one the most famous heist movie ever... Val Kilmer, Al Pacino, Robert Deniro. It is a classic as far as your definition goes. Awesome, awesome movie. :P  Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

Uuh maybe Resident Evil...and maybe It,I was 11 when I saw it my fear for clowns was huge after the movie  No, Taxi Driver is Scrosese's best movie. Starring Robert deNiro giving his best preformance ever, and a pretty good 12 year old Jodie Foster (I thought she was 12 during that movie). The movie you mean is Taxi. :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
sukkisinkkari
Wellwellwell, a topic to my taste. There is too many movies to list, but heres a few. A story about a man who gets kidnapped and spents 15years in this lonely room only TV with him. Man doesn't know why he is there, what had he done to get there or to who.. sick i say. He tryes to kill him self, dsnt work, makes a list about people, who he have made harm (=huge list), he trains fighting skills (boxing+kicking via television) and tries to make a hole to wall. 1 Day the hole is ready, but at the same day he gets away. Now the story begins. The hund between the hunter and the haunted. Second 1 is my personal favourite movie. Beatiful, just beatiful. The most beatiful movie ever made to screen. It all starts att 1 very rainy day, Andy Dufresne knows her wife is cheating on him, hes very mad and a lethal weapon. Something happens and he gets convicted because of 2 murders and gets jailed. Sorry, cant tell more, because i would ruin a perfect movie experience. Look for yourself. Just beatiful. And the third victim is: Written by Quentin Tarantino, Directed by Tony Scott. Action movies doesnt actually always touch me by anyway, but this did. And hard. Mayby im a true romantic, who knows? A man crushes on this beatiful phonecall-girl, they go to marridge. The man kills the p*mp of this girl and by accident gets the drugs from this guy. Ok now he gots a mafia behind him and he tries to sell them. Watch it and see the rest. How2PK
It's ranked at 23 in my top 100. It indeed is a great movie. I had the pleasure to see it in cinema. After that I bought the three disc edition on DVD. It's a must see. Too bad the Americans are remaking it.
