tonguetamer3
I guess I'll start with the reasoning behind why I am soloing. I rarely have enough time to do more than a couple floors at a time (not to mention I rarely have the commitment). Essentially, I want to be able to log on whenever, not have to bother finding a team, and do one or two floors before getting off. I'm not in any hurry to get my dungeoneering up, but I would like to get it up as efficiently as I can with the little time I do put into it. So the question is, how should I be doing the floors? I will be soloing all of them. Do I rush some on complexity 1 and only do some higher ones on C6? Do I do smalls on all of the floors or do I do medium on higher ones? Or will it simply be most effective to do all floors C6 and small? Please don't suggest finding a group. I already know soloing is not the most effective way. EDIT: I have maxed melee and 95 Prayer if that matters. Runescape: Winter 2002/2003 - May 2011
Autist
If your only concern is not wanting to waste time on finding a team, then use w117. Even a [cabbage]ty team > solo, xp/h wise.

Even a [cabbage]ty team > solo, xp/h wise. If that's the case, then should I rush 1-29 on C1 and do 30+ on W117? notasoupbowl
Imo solo all c6 is best xp.Since you are determined to solo, hood doesn't really matter, but it's still an ok bind. Probably wanna bind a surgebox or law runes. Can do smalls in 5 mins when using overloads + law runes bound. But it depends on the boss. Easy mage might save more time overall for bosses. Not sure. Main thing is to go fast. Deaths don't matter much.
tonguetamer3
Am I correct in assuming I shouldn't be bothering with bonus rooms? Runescape: Winter 2002/2003 - May 2011
notasoupbowl
Am I correct in assuming I shouldn't be bothering with bonus rooms?Do them unless you have to farm for them. (Take herb drops you get from gds, and bonus rooms that don't require boosts do for sure.) Edit: Although higher floors you might wanna farm anyway. If you can plant before boss and not really waste time then yeah but if it's a double pot or can't find an easy patch then don't bother.

Th e Doctor
Join dungeonsweepers and ask them to dg with you before using 117. Only use 117 as a last resort. Also add me in game and ill rush the c6 smalls with you til floor 30. vettro
I highly recommend against 117. They made me quit dungeoneering. Not to generalize, but I will anyway: they're all incompetent, selfish, hoarding, people who don't even know the basics of dungeoneering or that "Gd ggs" means teleport to the group gatestone and help the team. So for that reason, I would keep yourself sane and solo. DGS is a great TIP.IT based dungeoneering clan. I highly suggest you hop in their chat "dungeonsweep", and see if they're doing your floors at that time. I've had only good experiences with them. GlobalSmack
I'd recommend trying to find friends to 2-4 man with before considering doing floors solo. I have a few 100+ dungeoneering friends that have never stepped foot near w117 or any of the dungeoneering clan worlds. They've done all their floors with a select group of friends, usually doing floors as duo and trio teams. See if raiding in small groups with friends is a viable option. As for when you raid your floors, I'd suggest doing them similarly to how a 5-man team would typically do floors. Clear monsters only when needed (guardian doors and difficult puzzle rooms). Do as many bonus rooms as possible and skip when the extra rooms don't seem to be worth the extra time. Contrary to what was said earlier, the SS Hood is still the #1 bind you will want to have, even if you run maps solo. The SS Hood allows you to rush and not get piled as heavily. For now, your bound items should be:SLOT 1: SS Hood > Prom PlateSLOT 2: Prom 2h or Primal Bax Play around with your ammo slot if needed. Some people like to have Saggi Arrows each map, some like the Surgebox, and some just use law runes to help with their C1's. I say that's a personal choice I think you got the right idea for your floorst. 1-30 C1 and 30+ as full team/map works fine. Nothing is wrong with running some of the the other abandoned floors as med/larges if you got a team that wants to run those floors. I can't say much about any of the lower level DG clans out there. Staying ahead of the curve helps avoid having to use them.
Quyneax
Hang around in the DGS cc. If someone calls a floor you need and you feel like it, join. If you feel like a floor, call out and see what happens, you can always solo if nobody answers. tonguetamer3
So considering I can't fight the boss yet that drops Primal Baxe (89 Dungeoneering required), should I put some effort into trying to get a Prom 2H, or will my Prom Baxe be good enough for a while?
