Will H
What's better when ranging Iron/Steel dragons when on a slayer task? Full Slayer Helm with black dragonhide and barrows gloves or full Void Range? ~ W ~

Nifflin
The only time the void bonus is better for slaying is while chinning nechs because the slayer helm bonus is higher but only applies to one target while the void bonus applies to all targets. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. superway25
For lower def monsters, like lower def than black drags, fsh is better because it gives 20% range str. For steels arma/pernix and fsh would be better though.
Th e Doctor
For lower def monsters, like lower def than black drags living rock creatures, fsh void is better because it gives 20% range str as opposed to 15%. For steels arma/pernix melee and fsh would be better though. Goldenjkered
Since when did Void Range give 20%? It's always given 10% extra accuracy and strength. The full slayer helm is obviously better. It gives 5% more accuracy and strength compared to the 10% Void offers, and then it allows you to wear Dragonhide and Barrows Gloves along with it. Goldenjkered
Is this a hidden bonus, because I've looked everywhere and every source I go to tells me it's 10% to accuracy and strength. Quyneax
Eh all void bonusus are hidden. It might be 10% strength and 10% ranged level (which works out to the same damage boost, but since ranged levels affect both accuracy and damage... you see). Zaaps1
Hm, the runescape manual should really state this, it's kind of misleading people.you act like your surprised.(I'm looking at you dg shields manual post). What? It's common knowledge and the Knowledge Base is extremely untrustworthy and in many cases simply flat out wrong in what it has. It is never a good idea to accept KB as fact. Case in point, it had the Dungeoneering Shields' damage reduction percentages listed TOTALLY WRONG and the mechanics described in a completely different way than they work. It was like this for literally months since the release of Dungeoneering. ~It's Super Effective!
