Our_Moon
The Tip.It guide says that there's a new kalphite area unlocked after finishing the quest. Does anyone have pictures/numbers as to what's in there? Is it multicombat? Is it more useful than cannoning Soldiers in the Kalphite Hive? Cheers. Its the cave you access during the quest, the one just beyond the queen chamber. If memory serves all thats in there post-quest is a couple of guardians, the entrance is located south of the main kalphite entrance, the only major boon to it is quicker access to the queen Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Quyneax
It may be a (very) good spot to cannon them for slayer xp and effigies but there is not much testing on the subject. LitterBug
^ The spawns are pretty [cabbage]ty and if you try to take out the queen, she'll break your cannon. Getting the Sumona special task to kill the queen sucks :(
Vex
Wat. It's a separate chamber accessible by a separate entrance near the fairy ring. there are 3/4 soldiers & 2 guardians in there. I'll test it tonight and give you a kill rate >_> http://www.[Caution! Jagex Rule Violation].com
massicist
Regarding the spot itself, with turmoil, overload, cannon & steel titan it's around 600 kills/h on a full pop. world, which is (very) roughly 60k xp/h. They're not great for anything else, though they drop a fair few blues. Poor for effigies, because the room has 6 soldiers (lvl 85) and only 2 guardians (lvl 141). Vex
No they won't be anywhere near crawlers, it's just seeing whether or not they are worth doing for Slayer. previously with the old spot it was a bit of a waste for slayer - hard to get a world & mediocre XP. If they are ~600kph they wouldn't be much worse than dagannoths for effigies & the tradeoff would perhaps be if you can get 60k slay xp/hr equiv it might be worth doing in that 11/12th spot. http://www.[Caution!
