superway25
Seems like their def is a little high, also claws or ks specs? And is ghorrock better than resource dung to cannon them? Assume Im only slaying, not camping effigies.
Guy
You're essentially maxed - cannon would be a waste TBH. If you have a chaotic, use that and just melee pray, although if you have good enough armour I guess you could try your luck at tanking. KS is fine to. green9090
Are you not killing them in Kuradal's dungeon? And I'm pretty sure Ghorrak is the preferred place to cannon steels, people do it off task for good effigies and elite clues. Not sure why it's better than resource dungeon, I've never done it personally. green9090
For slayer, d defender + rapier in kuradels > everything elseFor not slayer, you shouldn't be killing them off of slayerI wouldn't say that. As I mentioned earlier, they're a damn decent effigy dropper and you can yak their bones, plus their regular drops aren't too shabby and they drop elites if you're into that sort of thing. Probably overall inferior to frosts, but for a change of pace they're not bad, and much less crowded. I never do it personally, but it's a far cry from something like camping abyssals or something as far as inefficiency goes. Quyneax
Cannoning in Ghorrock is faster than Kuradal's and the cannonballs should pay for themselves. I'm not sure on claws versus ks, but I don't imagine it matters overly much. In Kuradal's I'd go for claws. Off task, they are some fast effigies and they profit with a yak, so they're pretty good. It's basically like black demons with elites instead of charms. superway25
Is cannoning in ghorrock faster than the resource dungeon in brimhaven? Resource dung is kind of a pain to get to, but I just wanna know the comparasion once you're there.Don't have to enter wildy, and with karamja gloves 4 and brimhaven tabs it should take about 1 min to get there. Mainly interested in slayer only though. I'd camp black or mith drags for effigies.
Quyneax
I am not sure how they compare, but Vex' Effigyscape has the rates from Ghorrock. You should probably ask him or test both locations and gather data :P. Vex
Kuradel's is good for on task due to the distance between dragons being very small. You can get to the frozen fortress dragons by going to DKS fairy ring & getting the canoe from polar hunting area (you don't have to go to wildy anymore.) A cannon will only pay for itself in additional kills when doing Steels OFF task. However the difference between Kuradels and frozen fortress on task is much less. Resource dungeon isn't good because of how big the room is, cannoning doesn't work well as you can aggro a dragon from ages away and your cannon won't fire on it again. Or others will path between your cannon and the one you aggro'd also not firing at it. There isn't a requirement ON task to cannon steels it's maybe 10% faster at most. Off task is a different story http://www.[Caution! Jagex Rule Violation].com
