Dazzuh
Hey, I'm currently smithing/superheating gold bars and will end up with around 8k of them so I thought i'd make them into something for some crafting EXP, what i want to know is what gold items are good to make for decent EXP rates without losing too much money from selling a gold bar instead, which are 130gp or so each. I'd like something better than gold bracelets really, because they are low EXP/hr. Any help appreciated cheers. :) Currently not active on RuneScape. ilovecuttingyews
I don't know if this method still works, but I got 85-90 crafting off of diamond necklaces. You'll have to check the GE charts and time your buy/sell right or you can lose a lot, but if done right it's decent enough exp and come out even/profit. And because you don't have to buy the gold bars, you're in an even better situation then me as I had to buy the diamonds and the bars.
LitterBug
You could craft some dragonstone rings - if you do it soon enough, you might just cash in on a crazy market.
hounddog
I would say make the gold braclets then high alch them. Last time I checked you get more gold from alching then what a nat would cost to buy. I haven't checked prices in about a week so this may not be true anymore. This is how I do my gold bars. Nice idea but I don't need the Magic EXP and Gold bracelets without gems aren't good enough EXP really. Nice idea again with the Dragonstones but I'm not the type to risk it on things like that :P Not saying it didn't tempt me though. I think I'll see if there's money to be saved/made on diamond bracelets I think, as it's somewhere in the middle of the other options. Thanks for the help guys :) Currently not active on RuneScape. True but you're making about ~1k? gold bars an hour (maybe more but if so not much)1 hour for 25k crafting experience sounds like a pretty bad idea - there are plenty of skill-ing type activities that will lead to (price of gold bracelet: 249 - price of gold bar:143 = 106) profits of over 106 k an hour. Quyneax
Diamond necklaces are used to make phoenix necklaces so they might be good. Diamond bracelets are to prevent teleblocks? Dazzuh
Diamond necklaces seemed to work out as quite a significant loss on testing so I chose ruby bracelets, Ruby's buy and sell for around the same price as Ruby bracelets so without taking the bars cost into account I'm breaking even at 75k+ EXP/Hr Currently not active on RuneScape. amitoz
Sell bars and Buy Green D'hide if you're looking for xp. Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.
