Anyone buy this game? Really a cutting edge FPS if you ask me. I'm only up to level 7 and I love riding around in the Humvees and running over people. It has a very in depth class system but is a lot like Battlefield than COD. I personally think it was $60 well spent for me.

I've seen a few videos of the first few campaign levels, and it looks like another CoD clone to me :-? It has an interesting plot, and some of the scenes that have been played out are cool, with some WTF moments (on the bus on the first level, when you turn left at a corner.), but other than that it doesn't look like anything too great or different. I haven't seen, played, or even heard much about multilayer, so I can't comment on that. I might get it a little later on, but right now I'll stick to drooling over Battlefield 3 videos .

DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!

Story looked interesting, but it looked exactly like a COD game and I don't think I'm willing to shell out $50-$60 for that right now.

I'd get it but I don't have the $90 to shell out right now. ([bleep] Australia and its anti-competition measures. Wish I had a US Steam account just to gift myself Steam games to save considerable amounts.)

It didn't look like worth buying at the moment. Story was interesting as everyone else said, but I didn't think it was worth the 63 dollars needed to buy it. Hope it works out for you

I'll wait 'til it's about $30 before I even think about purchasing it. I've heard mixed reviews about it.

The scene at the beginning when you see those soldiers ripping parents away from their child, and they shoot the kid's parents right in front of him while the kid is screaming and crying...Jesus. That is one of the few moments in games that gripped me emotionally.

Anyone want to review this game if they have it for us? I'm on the ropes and dropping 60 bucks on another fps is hard for me to consider unless it's top notch.

If you want, I've subscribed to a guy who has played and video'd the first three campaign levels. You could watch those (and ignore the talking if you want) and judge it yourself that way. Unless you are talking about multiplayer, of which I've seen nothing of.

WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If you want to watch them, those are the first three levels. He said he was going to do a complete play through and vid it, but so far he hasn't updated anything.

I haven't bought it, but I've played it. I enjoyed the single player campaign, although it was rather short. The multiplayer is enjoyable, but there are a number of flaws that pull me away from it. It's not a bad game, but I don't rate it over BFBC2 in the slightest. Rather than buying this, I'll likely wait for the godfather of fps's to come out this Fall.

Not worth it when Crysis 2 has just came out too.

I tend to like reviews in traditional newspapers rather than Gamespot, simply because Gamespot isn't critical enough in my eyes and often 'misses the point', but this review was pretty interesting when I read it a few days ago.

The final bit especially, if you like conspiracy theories.

The only other review I've read (or heard, rather) was on BBC Radio, who said the fact they brought someone from Hollywood to do the story rather than relying on a games designer made the story more gripping and interesting, but overall the game "wasn't great" despite it receiving more attention than the 3DS's launch.
