Many clans have "rediscovered" PvP because of the new free trade/wilderness updates, but even so there's not as many clans out as there was before. This is a question for those that do go out and for those that decide to remain in CWA.

 

What would encourage your clan to PK in the Wilderness more often?

 

In the case of DF, we already PK quite a lot, but we'd probably go out more if other clans went out more.

CR already pk's a good amount. The only thing I think that is holding us back from going out more is our smaller memberlist and not being able to compete much against the top 8 or so clans right now. Also, most of the clans around our strength don't really pk much and just have planned fights which is tough on us getting action.

tons of clans are out there just not willing to fight you because you guys are a top clan

 

plenty of action for mid sized clans out there just sucks for the newer smaller pvp clans who get attacked and cleared by any other pvp clan due to mainly numbers

 

so to encourage other clans to pk id say the bigger clans are a huge impact.

It's just hard for us mid-sized clans to find clans out. Yes, there are some out on every occasions, but clans like those are either way too large for us to compete with, or the clan we hunt down is too small for us. Also, there aren't many clans out there our size that we can fight due to timezone problems(one clan having a huge PST unit, compared to us having a big GMT unit). I think once more clans are open, there will definitely be more pking, and such.

People need to understand that PKing more, being more active as a clan, will benefit your clan in the long-run. It's a mindset that was lost years ago from many clans, including topc clans. However, the truth is, if you want to get more #'s, be a better clan in general, then PK more. ;)

WG vs DF, Jagex Combat Cup 2010 Full Out All Styles DF Starting 87 WG Starting: 31 DF Ending: ~80. We've fought you guys before, and a fight's more fun if both clans have similar numbers unless it drags on for 10 hours

RSD PK's pretty much daily, so no real way to increase for us, nor would I want to lol.

 

@ the smaller and mid-sized clans, try offering a matched PVP options fight to the bigger clans, you'd be surprised how many would accept it. The big clan will make it unmandatory and will pull less than normal, and whoever is left over from the cut can AC the stragglers/looters and have a bit of fun as well. We've fought several fights this way both in F2P and P2P. If a big clan really has confidence in their organization they won't mind a 30v30 if they have nothing else going on.

If we had better levels. A lot of our members don't like pking because we don't have enough high levels to hold our own against a standard med sized clan, a lot of our high levels know this too, so they wont pk either, which puts us at an even greater disadvantage. We're an all levels clan, so that's a self imposed handicap, but I've seen us come a very long way since we started. Confident we'll be regularly pking sometime in the not too distant future.
