yea gonna go bandos for the first time seen as though

my stats are adequate

 

the other person with me is gonna be a ranger with 90+

range and some okay gear

 

so i looked it up and could i get a confirmation on these

setups with consideration to the additional comments

 

abby whip

obby shield (don't want to splurge on dfs)

glory (do not want fury)

ring of life (do not want beserker/warrior)

guthan helm/body/legs

dragon boots

Skill cape (don't have a fire cape)

best RFD gloves

 

not sure on the inventory. i have access to overloads,

super prays and 93 summoning and I have the EEE

 

so if anyone can tell me how many brews i can sip until

i should have an overload and which familiar to take then

that would be dandy and i'll figure out the inventory

myself :3

 

p.s i only have 72 prayer

Are you saying that your partner will be ranging?

 

If so, something is wrong. You don't range bandos.

Another cape (soul wars, ardougne 3) would be better of course, as would a chaotic etc. but I guess you know that.

 

If you are bringing Guthan's spear, use the helmet/plate/legs, otherwise replace them with Verac's helmet and skirt for prayer bonus.

 

Overloads boost your stats by 26 up to 26 above your max level every 15 seconds, so if you brew right before it does so you will not suffer any adverse effects. I imagine you need to brew 1-2 times per kill, not sure.

 

Start out with something like 2 overloads, EEE, scrolls, unicorn summoned etc. then move on to 4 ovl/spare unicorn pouch, 6 ovl/2 spare pouches etcerera. At a certain point you will need a bob to carry enough prayer though.

 

@ Above: you can range Graar, if you use good dps gear (void deflector, ccbow) it shouldn't be too bad, compared to say a whip or godsword. Of course that's a chaotic/noob setup versus a nonchaotic/tank setup but still.

I wouldn't recommend ROL for tanking, especially since your risk should be fairly low anyway

 

Theres lots of times that you can be hit to under 10% LP and recover from it fine (since you'l be able to food-brew due to food drops too)

Also absentmindedly re-overloading while in the 500-600 hp range can also activate it (which ive quite stupidly done a few times before)

 

It'd be a pain to ROL out of there by accident and leave your teammate in a sticky situation that you could've avoided, also KC can be gotten fast enough to return to a grave if death actually does happen (an if your teammate gets a bless in then you really have nothing to worry about with getting back in time)

 

 

Go for Zerker, RoW or explorers ring (if you arent yak banking the high alchs are nice, plus a slight prayer bonus with no risk)

I'd look into a blessed spirit shield instead of the obby shield. No strength bonus, but you are tanking after all and the BSS has better overall stats imo.

He does not need melee def stats, only range and magic. Obby has high range defense + str bonus.
