Residua
I've just got this task but I'm not sure what a good set up for me and perhaps an insight to a decent inventory for them? Thanks in advance!
Seer
Full melee gear, Unicorn *or bunyip and some food*, Super *extreme* set, and enchanted water tiara *or use water skins if you don't have*. I am known only as The Seer. I have many names and many different forms. Cross me at your own risk, fight me at your own peril, but join me and fight by my side, and none shall stand before our power.Owner of the Quest, Firemaking*2-12-08*, Fletching, Magic, Defense, Cooking, HP, Attack, Strength, Herblore, Summoning, Farming and Prayer Capes. Saradomin_Mage
It'd be better if you took the FSH over Enchanted Tiara, since that will speed up the task considerably more. Doesn't hurt to carry maybe 4 or 5 waterskins, since the wyrms will be dropping them too. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers. Octarine
If you want to keep the slayer helms nice boosts, take around 6 waterskins, and just pick up the many waterskin drops you'll get. Without a unicorn you'll really want the tiara or waterskins to combat the desert. Also casting humidify works on waterskins, so that could be a reasonable way to last there if you dont mind that awkwardness. (4 waterskins and runes for humidy shouldnt sacrifice too many spaces) So long as you pay attention and dont get hit by the special, bunyip should be fine for general healing. You could use enhanced excalibur for more emergency healing (as it were) Blog of DG, Bossing (mostly Glacors) and stuff - Runetrack Play Safe! - Got useful information for the tip.it website? BloodAngel
Personally I would suggest skipping them, they aren't a particularly great task. However if you do kill them they drop waterskins often enough so that you should be able to manage without a tiara. If you're worried about running out then swap to Lunars and use Humidify every now and then. "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale." pulli23
you have 15 minutes to walk back should you die. Walking from lumbridge probably can be done within a minute... Why bother with healing at all? Just let yourself die if you have to. Maximize offensive items! First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Quyneax
^You wouldn't be maximising your kills/hr if you suicide like that :shame:. In my opinion the small chance to get an elite clue drop is not worth the extremely low xp, effigies and charms these offer. I would recommend blocking them. If you need the points, use a cannon. I just want to say: taking a water tiara, or even waterskins isn't worth the efford!
