What to do with 95 rc

Featured Replies

Hey-oh!

Been off runescape now for a good few years, returning today in style and I would like to know a few things.

1) Any changes to nature rune/grhaak route?

2) These days, what is the most efficient way to make money with 95 RC?

Thanks for your help, and hopefully will be posting alot more now I'm back :-)

Don't make money with rc. - It's about 400k-500k an hour

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

So there was no point getting 95 RC?

Runecrafting has been revamped into the effigy-assisting skill. That's its only use.

The best money in runecrafting is probably in abyssal deaths but even that's slow - use your runecrafting level for effigies, cruise to 99 while doing something useful :P.

effigies are items you find during combat.. And grand amazing experiences (in case of runecrafting, farming effigies is faster than standard runecrafting). Though require 91+ to "open".

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

An effigy is an untradeable drop which requires a certain level in a non-combat skill or summoning to activate, giving you the next stage of the effigy. There are four stages, requiring 91, 93, 95 and 97 in a skill respectively. Upon completing the fourth stage you recieve an xp lamp which can provide as much as 45k xp.

You can use the assist system to open effigies but of course you lose the xp for that stage. However assisting other people to open their effigies is free xp .

Skills are paired. The one on the left can't be assisted, the one on the right can. You need one from a pair to go to the next stage.

Summoning - Runecrafting

Woodcutting - Fletching

Agility - Crafting

Thieving - Construction

Fishing - Farming

Hunter - Herblore

Mining - Smithing

Firemaking - Cooking

i still prefer rc as the bast cash avenue for players who's combat is between 70-100 as laws deaths and bloods still give an insane profit per an hour but this is only coming from someone with 65rc

Making Unf potions, and picking mort myre fungus is better money then RC, although you don't get xp from them, but still.

Don't make money with rc. - It's about 400k-500k an hour

Around 750k an hour, and a secure zero-risk income at this.

Blood runes are the way to go, at the moment. Normally it switches between blood and death runes every few months, so check the GE. :]
